Kathryn Hawkins, "The Angel" leaned against her horse, her hat covering her face with an annoyed look on her face. She'd been waiting for three hours. "If he doesn't show up soon I'm leaving him here." She mutters to herself, arms folded over her chest. Kate rolls her shoulders and turns so she is leaning on her arms on Desert Rose, her horse. "I don't see why he gets to go in and get the payment..." She mutters, petting Rose on the head. "Oh well, as long as we are out of here before my family figures out I'm back in town, then it's all good. I'm not up to dealing with them again so soon." She says to her horse and stands up again and looks towards the sheriff's office, waiting. She puts her hat back over her face, a her eyes closed. |

James Dunhurst, "The Demon", was in the sheriffs office dickering over the bounty price of their last mark, seeing as how it had more men and weapons than they had been told, causing them to have gone in a little underprepared. The entire time James kept his cool, but the sheriff was slowly getting on his nerves seeing as how the sheriff was being stubborn about it and saying all the information they gave them was flawless...when in reality it was far from it. After several minutes, and a few strings of swear words, James walked out of the office with the payment in hand, he had "convinced" the sheriff to throw in a little extra for the lack of correct information, though it wasn't as much as he had hoped for, but it would have to do. As he walked over to Kathryn he put the payment into his bag and popped her on her head where her hat was, "This isn't the time for sleeping Angel." He alternated between her name and nickname, it was his way of messing with her, because sometimes it would confuse her when he called her by one name for an extended period of time, and then switched to the other. |

"I wasn't sleeping." She says, sounding rather annoyed. She was usually like this when they came to Dangsly. She hated the place for one reason: Her family lived here. "Can we go now before I do something stupid?" She says, her dark blue eyes glaring at him. She was pissed about being in the town. She mounts her horse in a swift moment and sets her hat on her head. "Come on, James." She says, sounding anxious. "So how much did my brother-in-law give you?" She says with a smirk on her face, acting a bit amused. |

James tied up the bag on the horses side. He walked around Silver, his horse, and hopped up quickly. He looked at her, he was still slightly annoyed at her brother-in-law for the arguement he put him through...he even forced him to play the "Demon" card. "He wanted to stick with the $2000 reward...but seeing as how he didn't give us appropriate information on what we were going up against, causing us to go in underequipped, i 'persuaded' him into making it $3000" |

"He's an idiot. I don't see why my sister married him." Kate says before giving him what everyone called the Angel look. A pure happy smile that could brighten a room. "At least he didn't marry me. He'd have died long ago." She says with a laugh before shaking her black hair. "Can we go look at the board now before all the good ones are gone, my James?" She says, tapping him on the head and riding off ahead of him. It was unlike her to ride off ahead. She knew he hated it when she did it. But she really wanted to get out of Dangsly. |

He snapped the reigns when she went off ahead of him. "Hey don't get ahead of me Angel. You know I'm not comfortable with that." Whe he finally caught up to her he looked over at her, "I know you're in a hurry to get out of here, and itching to get started on another Mark, but don't you think we should stay and stock up on some supplies. I'm low on ammo for my rifle from that last mark, had we known he had more chronies with him i would have bought more ammo." |

"Sorry, I just-" She starts when her name is called. "Kathryn!" Kate bolts, she doesn't stay put long enough for her sister to talk to her. "I'll be at the general store. If you see anyone in my family, You have no idea where I am." She says in a angry voice before she is gone. She still wasn't on good terms with her family since she'd chosen this path. They didn't approve. Every time she was in town they tried to talk her into coming back to work at the saloon. The only saloon Kate would not go in. |

James heard someone call her name as well. He would recognize that voice anywhere. When she bolted off he nodded his head in recognition of what she told him. He urged the horse towards the board, last thing he wanted was to get caught by her sister. She wanter her to come back, and if she couldnt find Kathryn, then she tried to talk him into talking to Kathryn for her. Kathryn's sister was a real thorn in the side to him. Always trying to coax him, and bribe him into bringing her back, using the same phrase "Well, you're a bounty hunter, think of her as a bounty that's wanted alive." She along with that husband sheriff of hers were two of the few people that could actually test his patience. |

Kate jumps off Rose and ties her next to the other horses. She walks into the general store, her hat tilted over her eyes as she goes about the supplies and grabs what she needs. "That all you need, Miss? You sure you need all that?" The man at the counter says. She tilts her hat back and grins at the man, who looked nervous now. Her eyes had an angry glow in their depths. "I'm sure I need them, or are you telling me you don't sell to women?" She says, leaning on the counter. "N-no of course no. I sell to all!" He says and she hands him what she owes before heading back to Rose and puts what she bought in her saddlebags. "Kathryn!" Kate moans at the sound of her name and slowly turns around to face her older sister, Josephina. "Josephina, what do you want?" Kate says, arms crossed over chest. "What makes you think I want something?" Josephina asks. "You always want something, Jo. I'm not coming back so that'd better not be it." Kate says, her voice sounding annoyed. "But Kate-" Josephina starts but Kate stops her. "I don't want to hear it. Leave me be Jo." Kate says before mounting Rose and riding off. |

James was still at the board looking over all the new bounties that got thrown up, along with some bounties that were still there from last time. He didn't know what to nab for them, there were a few with bigger bounties than their last mark, but he didn't want to get them to far in over their heads with a mark. They were only human after all. "I guess I'll wait until Angel gets here. That way we can decide on a mark together. There's no point in going for the small fry, but i don't want to get something we can't handle." So he sat there on Silver waiting for her. |

Kate, with her hat off and hair blowing free road towards James. Her eyes burned with anger from the conversation she'd had with her sister. She fakes a smile and comes up behind him, taping him on the shoulder before stopping beside him. "You seem to be useless as always without me, James." She says with a smile. She was back to grinning and teasing him it would seem. She winks at him in a tease and goes to looking at the board, thinking. "Lefty Reins? where do these people get these names? And my brother-in-law says we have horrid names. tsk." she says with a laugh. |

"I just didn't want to get something you considered a small fry...after all you change your definition of small fry after just about every bounty. Besides, bounty choosing is something that should involve the both of us. Besides...I may not be that good at choosing bounties...but who's the one who's saved your hide countless times on a hunt huh?" After all James was a sniper specialist, mainly shooting from a distance. Most of their hunts they had used his specialty. Sometimes she would act as a distraction, and drew out their mark while he set up for the shot, or she'd go for the kill and he'd have to cover her six from a distance. Granted there were a few occasions here and there where he got dragged into the close combat shoot out along with her. "Lefty Reins? where do these people get these names? And my brother-in-law says we have horrid names. tsk." she says with a laugh. "Yeah, I've been wondering about that name myself. I mean at least our names have a reason and some meaning behind them. 'Lefty Reins' I just don't see what possible meaning that would have." He said as he shook his head. He reached for his bag and opened it up, looking for his hat. When he found it he dusted it off a little, it had a few bulletholes along the rim. He looked up at her as he dusted it, "Is that who you wanted to go after? They have seven and a half big ones on them." |

"Now James, where is your sense of humor gone?" She says as she takes the flier down, kissing him on the cheek. "This one should be fun. Besides, if I do get into any trouble I always have you to count oh, hm?" She says with a giggle before she is off like a bullet. "Come on James, I've had enough of this hellhole. There are other towns to visit, bounties to collect and fun to be had!" She shouts from her horse as she puts her hat on. She smiles at him and is off again. She was going to get herself killed one of these days.. |

((Don't you just love it XD)) "Come on James, I want to be out of here before I get-" She doesn't finish what she was saying. A shot is fired and misses her by an inch. She turns to her lovely family standing behind the sheriff with guns. Crap. "You will not be leaving Dear. You are coming home and staying home." Double crap. "No. I won't be. I'm leaving like usual. I really hope you give this up, making me a saloon girl and all that lovely shit." She says, slowly edging her horse closer to the edge. Escape was only fifty feet away. Another shot hits her hat. Her eyes widen. "What are you doing?! Trying to kill me?!" She yells, her hands drawing her guns. The Angel was pissed. |

Angel may have been pissed, but they were just getting on his nerves at this point. James had three phases he went through before loosing his cool. First was teeth grinding. Second was swearing. Third was finger twitching. At this particular moment...he was on phase one...almost borderline stage two. This happened nearly everytime they came back, always trying to get Angel to come back one way or another, this time they came to force...and it was annoying him more than usual...if they kept this up they just might see the rare occurence where they would learn how he got his name "Demon". He turned Silver around and grabbed his rifle out of his bag and pulled back the folding stock. He pulled back on the loading pin, "Back off people, before you really get on my nerves. You all are lousy shots...I don't miss." Threats were the halfway point between stage one and stage two. |

They seemed to realize their mistake and drop their guns. "I ain't coming back and that is that." She says shooting a bit from the sheriff's feet. "Back off." She says ridding next to James. "Come on my Demon. Lets leave James." She says before shooting off, her relatives glaring at her, tempted to shoot her in the shoulder from the look of it. They'd miss. Angel almost never missed her mark. |

He pulled the reins again to turn the horse back around, but he kept his eyes on the people. "Hmph, so ya'll aren't complete morons after all." He nudged the horse to get moving as he put his rifle away in the bag again, and darted off after Angel. |

Kate stops after she is well out of town and takes her hat off. "A hole in my favorite hat! Damn it now I have to go get another one!" She says before she starts muttering under her breath. It sounded mainly like swearing. |

He came up beside her as she started complaining about her hat. He took off his hat and looked at her while pointing to it, "God you are such a woman sometimes, seriously, like a single hole is THAT bad." He said as he showed the rim of his hat which had over a dozen holes all along it. |

"So nice of you to notice, James. Yes I am a woman." She mutters putting her hat back on. "Today is just going to get worse, I can tell..." She says with a sigh before turning towards him, her eyes afire. Uh-oh. "Lets go." She says and drives rose into a gallop. Kate was on a death hunt again. She'd find their mark even if it killed her. |

((Maybe you guys can see me at the road or something? If that doesn't work, then well, maybe you guys can help me with a nice little guideline on what to do? Like, just walking with my horse?)) "Damn, a hundred dollars," Dante muttered, "Bullshit." Dante had been walking on the road for half an hour now, he was looking for the rumored "Demon" and "Quicksilver". He had wanted to team up with either one of them, still, he wasn't sure if both had already gotten partners. He stayed on track with the thoughts, thinking of his life, which would start now. Dante was not yet famous as a Bounty Hunter, so they didn't pay him shit. The hot wind of the west flowed freely through the air. Piston at Dante's side, moving at the same pace Dante was at. The magnificent horse had been with Dante for a long ten years now, and his horse was very obedient. Dante's unique horse had a shade of black, Dante didn't agree with reins on a horse, he had been with Piston too long. The long time they'd been together helped a lot, Piston knew when to run, or when to stop, Dante would just signal it with a slight touch on the horse's mane. Dante looked grim, he was pissed at the current flow of adventure. No interesting fights. Low pay. Boring time gaps. Bullshit. Dante fixed his hair as it was getting in the way of his sight. Then sighed, he'd find one of the two Bounty Hunters he was looking for, or at least, a nice good sleep in a comfortable bed. |

Clyde Barny, or Quicksilver as he was known, was pretty true to his name. He rode upon a gray and white horse, a magnificent steed by the name of Gray who helped further his reputation. But on foot, or with a gun, there were almost none to be found faster. It was a pretty nice nickname actually.. and he was infinitely glad it had stuck instead of the name his drunken cousin tried to have instated: The Flaming Gunslinger. Damn red hair. But right now... right now he found that the trail was cold and dull. The last week, absolutely nothing had happened, or had he spoken with a soul outside the bar. This was no way for a gunslinger to live. Why he hadn't even had a chance to use his guns! Okay, that wasn't true. He could have used them. But he didn't have a GOOD reason to use them. He'd be damned if he was going to shoot piss cans with them. But eventually, he had to walk Gray. Even walking however the man kept a brisk pace. He found himself walking down a rather quiet road in search of the next town, the next hit. He enjoyed the Bounty life, man did he ever. But some times it really did suck. That was when he noticed an individual walking on a road adjacent to him. Both of his brows raised as his gray eyes narrowed to get a better view. Bandit or... no. Gunslinger. He pondered a moment, usually the solitary sort. Perhaps it was the heat. Or maybe, maybe it was the boredom. Hell, it could be some dust got lodged into his brains. Whatever the reason, he started to make his way over. When close enough, he gave a tilt of his hat and an acknowledging nod. "Afternoon. Know where I can find the nearest bar?" he asked. Quicksilver had a slight reputation growing, and everyone would know it was him by his red hair and gray eyes. But he was also known for traveling alone. Still, he just needed a few moments to break this goddamn silence... ((There, I posted Go me :3))

Dante heard a voice, it seemed very intriguing in the position he was at now. He turned around, the very man called Quicksilver was standing a few feet away from him. Dante smirked, "So you are Quicksilver," he paused, "I have heard many things about you, and the guns, are one." Dante nodded in return, "Still alone, I see, you haven't found someone who could match your speed have you?" Before waiting for the man to answer, he acknowledged the man's question and replied, "The nearest bar? You mean Darkbrew? I can take you there, I was going there myself anyway." Dante suddenly remembered he didn't introduce himself yet, he grinned, "I am Dante, by the way, you might know me by my other name." |

Clyde had to grin at that. "None I shall admit. I thought of perhaps slacking off a bit, but it just isn't in my style," he replied. Which was true. Okay, so between here and the last bar he had one companion. But he... well needless to say was shot. And killed. Not by Clyde himself, oh no! But shot and killed nonetheless. Such seemed to always be the way out here. "My thanks, seems reasonable enough," he replied, laughing lightly. "I wonder, do you live up to your nickname? If so, we should get along just fine. Pulse, correct?" After awhile in these lands, almost every gunslinger garnered a reputation for themselves, good or bad. Dante had the same reputation for speed, which made Clyde wonder if their meeting had perhaps been very fortuitous. "You can also call me Clyde," he finally decided, giving a nod. "Lead the way. Gray and I will follow." Somehow... Clyde had a good feeling. This one, well this one might just be able to dodge a bullet. And he had that feeling he got sometimes while looking up at the skies on a rainy night: it would be interesting times to come. Interesting indeed. |
