Darsis roamed the halls and sighed, You think you over did it a little Akira? If that student wouldn't have been back to class on time, you know what would have happened, Darsis. Still... Darsis adjusted the weight of his backpack on his shoulder. I didn't have time to explain it to him, nor could he have gotten back to class on time before time resumed. It was my only option, Akira said harshly with a snort. Darsis watched Zaejin and Heather. Luckily, in this form, Zaejin, wouldn't recognize him. You denfinately overdid it Akira. He'll be fine in a couple days. The injuries aren't life threatening, only painful. With luck, he'll be home the next several days so he won't be snooping around... AKIRA! Darsis snapped mentally. Whatever. The Conversation was obviously over. Sighing, the gentler half of the being returned to class. |

The nurse did indeed notice the presence of the stranger person and looked at him, perplexed by his unnaturally attractive form with her mouth slightly agape. Before long, though, she shook herself from that stupor and asked, "Excuse me, sir, but do you need help?" She could only assume he was sick or hurt or something... why else would one enter a nurse's office. Then she noticed he was watching Zaejin and Heather and instead chose not to wait for an answer, asking, "...Are you a friend of Zaejin and Heather?" Heather perked up at the nurse's voice and the question she asking, turning to see a strange man looking at her and her cousin. The instant her eyes fell on him, she was struck with awe for a few moments before she shook herself and regarded him with cautious uncertainty. He... there's no way he's human! Nobody can be that... pretty! She found herself at a loss for words in describing the image of the man before her. ...Wait... She glanced over to her cousin when she realized the man was watching him and thought, ...Does he know something about Zaejin? She turned her gaze upon him and regarded him with suspicion. She had no idea how she was supposed to approach this situation... too many weird things were happening... and her cousin was mixed up in all of it somehow. But she couldn't just start asking the man random questions while they were here in the nurse's office... and she didn't want to leave Zaejin here alone. She would have to wait until he woke up before she would take the risk of asking... |

Tilting his head to either side, Kyaka regarded the nurse for a moment, thoughts flashing behind his too blue eyes. Then he smiled, and everything about him seemed to light up. He seemed to exhude all that was good in the world, and quite suddenly you had a very strong impulse to trust whatever he was saying, whatever he was doing. It was like you knew that he wasn't going to do anything bad. That all he was there for, was to help. "No dear." Kyaka murmured, and his voice echoed like bells, ringing sweetly through the room. "I am quite fine. As a matter of fact, I was going to leave in just a moment. I just needed to check on them... and no, I don't know them so personally as that." His gaze shifted around to lock onto Heather's. "I just want to help." He said it as if he were still talking to the nurse, but he was clearly speaking to her. "I'm visiting for a while, standing in with lectures and answering... questions. I'm sure you'll see me around." And his gaze shifted back to the young nurse. He smiled his dazzling smile, and then turned and left. When he walked from the room, he spotted Darsis. He could smell the events on the boy, and knew him to be Akira's othe rhalf. He could taste the two emotional currents on the air too, and wondered what they were arguing about. He angled his gait towards the boy, crossing and closing the distance in moments. He waved, his mood jubilant. "Hello! We didn't get a chance to speak before. I'm Kyaka." It was quickly clear tha tKyaka found Darsis more preferable a conversational partner than Akira. |

The nurse blinked, her mind baffled by his sudden change in appearance, but she couldn't help but trust what he said. Whether or not he was human didn't matter, she only nodded and went on to one of her other duties. Heather, however, was not so quick to 'trust' him. When he started exuding that strange feeling, her mental defenses, already on high alert, quickly rejected the feeling and she became even more convinced that he wasn't human and was not so quick to believe that he was just some good guy. When he said he just wanted to help... she did get the impression he was being honest... No! She quickly caught herself, shaking the influence of... whatever it was that kept trying to slip past her mental defenses, I have no reason to trust what he says... for all I know, he could be the one who hurt Zaejin in the first place! She thought to herself. When the man left, the strange feeling went with him, and Heather was relieved. If he wants me to trust him, then he needs to earn it... not try to force me to do it... She thought bitterly as she turned back to her unconscious cousin. It was about then that he began to stir, groaning and blinkingly opening his eyes. He flinched momentarily against the lights, but once his eyes adjusted again, he glanced around and sat up to see his cousin sitting next to him with a worried, not to mention confused, look on her face. It was odd... the pain in his stomach was totally gone, he didn't feel strained sitting up and there was no sign of any soreness. Lifting his shirt a moment, he saw the bruise was totally gone! "Whoa... I didn't know medicine had gotten this... potent!" He exclaimed with surprise. Heather, at that moment, was extremely tempted to tell him what happened... but even if she showed him what little she was able to capture of his sudden healing, she felt it wouldn't be enough. So, she only smiled faintly and nodded, "Yeah, the nurse did a good job. It helps that you're a fast healer too." He nodded with a smile and climbed out of bed with a grunt as his thoughts came to him, ...wait a minute! What if it has something to do what... what I came to look like when everything froze... He gulped quietly and, as Heather stood to go and inform the nurse that he was awake, he looked down at his own hands and asked himself, ...Am I even still human? He didn't like to think about it... but it was something he had to consider. Once the nurse was informed, Zaejin and Heather went back towards their class as the bell rang for the next classes to begin, got their stuff, and then headed towards the cafeteria. They had first lunch, and after everything that happened, Zaejin found he was really hungry. Heather didn't have too much of an appetite, but she figured if she didn't eat, then her cousin would get worried. As they walked along, Zaejin spotted the odd human who he knew to be the purple monster in disguise talking to another student. He knew the student, but he didn't remember his name. ...So he's still here, huh? He thought to himself guardedly and chose to take a watch-and-see approach. Heather, making sure her cousin didn't notice, stealthily glared at the odd man before taking on a more neutrally cheerful smile again and thought to herself, I really hope I don't have to talk to him yet... questions or no, I'm not sure I would be able to believe anything he told me. I need to calm down... |
