There are so many things out there in this wonderful world of ours that you can do to make a difference to your life! The most important thing to do first is make a pledge to yourself that you will suck it up and do whatever it takes to create the life you truly desire. I laughed when I read the other day about someone who said "suck it up or your will have to cover it up" I think this is so true, as in our moments of weakness (usually because things are going wrong and we need to turn to our favourite poison for love and nurturing....) we indulge, and then pay the price later. Its time to take charge - and be the "Superman" of our life! After all, no one else can be that for us - we are the only ones in control. Now if you can hear a little voice in your head blaming someone - you are losing control and lowering yourself. Be the "Superman" of your life and own it - all of it! The minute you stop blaming and start owning your situation, is the minute your lie will change for good, and you will begin to see some amazing opportunities instead of problems. Here are some tips I would like to share with you today. Firstly connect with nature - everyone spends way too much time inside on computers, watching TV and shopping at malls. How on earth is your body going to be able to stabilise to its optimal weight if you are always inside. Your body needs to move and breathe in fresh air, and get lots of vitamin D (early morning and late afternoon sun is the safest). I have witnessed so many people stabilise their weight and live the life of their dreams when they stopped eating packaged foods, and embarked on a whole foods diet. The secret here is that when we eat pre packaged supermarket worthless refined foods/drinks and alcohol, it can create quite an acidic environment for your body - the reaction of the body is to hold onto the weight. The very best diets I have seen for shifting stubborn weight is to eat fruit and vegetables - as much as you want in their natural raw state. This is nutrition the body recognises. Only drink purified water and add fresh lemon juice to this for a very alkalising and cleansing benefit. Be sure to have your water away from your food (30minuets either side of eating) This gives your stomach acid time to digest your food instead of turning it into diluted soup!!! By adding cultured foods to your diet like plain yoghurt with plenty of good and healthy bacteria for your belly, you will reduce bloating, and all the salads you are having will feed this healthy bacteria and give you that lovely flat tummy we all desire. Lean meat if you choose, and eggs, can give you plenty of protein and so can green super foods. Adding a green smoothie to your diet can be the simplest way to embark on changing your diet for good. Instead of stopping everything you are currently doing, try adding a green smoothie and you will notice your cravings for all your old favourite nasties will fall away without you even realising. You simply won't desire the sugar so much as your body will be filled with the right nutrients from the green smoothie and you will crave less carbohydrates. This is nutrition at its best, feeding all the cells and muscles of your body and bringing you into balance, for vitality and the opportunity to feel energised. Your body will naturally want to stabilise its weight. Its one thing to drop the weight but in order to feel fantastic about the new you, its wonderful to be inspired by a great program that can give you the shape you desire and lift your energy levels and mood.
