The Pinto is what is known as a Color Breed, it is less about the conformation or breed of the horse and more about the horse's color in this case the white spotting patterns known as Pintos or Paints. All breeds will be accepted. Color Pintos should have at least two or more square inches of white on their body. Ideally Pintos are fully marked with one or more of the following patterns, Tobiano Frame Overo Sabino Overo Splashed White Overo Pintos that do not meet the color requirement, may still be accepted if they have one or more of the following. blue eyes bald faces leg white above the knee or hock solid colored horses who have produced pinto foals out of non pintos solid colored horses who have 2 pinto parents Horses can not have an Appaloosa pattern or Characteristics Purebred Breeds who will not be accepted: Friesian, Arabian, Appaloosa, Pintaloosa, Tiger Horse, ....... |
