Recent developments in Street Fighter X Tekken modding made it possible to use 3+ costumes and the infamous same emo crash issue is now history so I thought it's the right time to develop a mod manager (I named it TurboMod) that allows easy installation of mods on any (10) slots and some other features as well. It's quite stable now and also being tested by Robhal but still a bit away from release. Here are some WIP screenshots.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It doesn't install from zip/7z/rar files and requires an easy but defined directory structure of mods to detect them because with every modder following a different pattern of compressed files, it's impossible to implement the feature of installing from them. I will discuss that directory structure later. Here is a brief change/feature log so far Version 1.0 Basic internal version 1. Ability to detect mods. 2. Ability to install mods on default slots only. Version 1.1 First stable version 1. Ability to install mods on any chosen slot (01 - 10). 2. Automatic detection of default slot based of file names. 3. Visual progress bar with filenames. 4. Option to copy original 2ry and 4ce files incase they are not included by modders. 5. Option to show readme.txt file (if it's included with mod). 6. Option to show preview.jpg file (if it's included with mod). 7. Option to launch game from mod manager. 8. Character portraits. 9. Implementation of new UI (Metro Style). 10. Separate setup page for default directories. 11. Option to save default directories in a file. 12. Visual preferences. 13. Installation in patch directory instead of resources. Version 1.2 Second stable version 1. Visual preferences can be saved now. 2. Help/FAQ link. More features will be implemented on suggestions (if feasible and necessary). Let me know your impressions

Is this only for win8? Sad if it is, considering alot of people don't want to upgrade to it. I'm asking because the gui looks very windows8-ish.

@Khaled Thank you very much bro, it was a nice distraction from traditional modding and also something useful for everyone ![]() @liljon042 No mate, the only requirement it has is .NET Framework 4.5. It will run just fine on Windows 7. Like I said in main post Robhal is testing this and he has Win 7

Also does this tool copy additional emms if needed? Also, why does SFXT crash at C10? (I know this might not be the best place to ask, but maybe we can find out why) |

@liljon042: Why do we need the additional emm files? The game doesn't even read them. I don't know why your game crash at C10, but I can confirm that I can have more than 10 costumes (Cammy with 12 costumes) and the crash doesn't crash |

@liljon042 The tool has ability to copy them if they are present otherwise if they are not included by the modder then the tool will skip them. I got sick that's why stopped working on this for a while, I'll resume in few days. Hopefully you'll get the tool soon to try it yourself
