I am mainly posting this topic because maybe you guys can help us out on how to convert their vfx/eff for the PS3 characters. Also, I am releasing the gtf2dds because maybe you guys can unpack the swap/alternate costume's gtf for pc-quality graphics. Here they are! Endian tools + vfx/eff packer and unpacker, readme's in the rar: http://cs.rin.ru/forum/download/file.php?id=16067 gtf extractor and gtf2dds, IDK what gtf extracter does, but gtf2dds obviously changes gtf to dds, and theres dds2gtf too: https://www.mediafire.com/?iw2wehcz6w50doo |

As soon as VFX/EFF files are done, they're pretty much finished ports. |

I try to review my backport experience with initial testing attempt to backport Cole's costume emb file using BrutalAce's guide. Well it's a failure because I can't even view the dds with sf4explorer. It seems that the file format between PS3 and XBOX360 is different. This is maybe the same case with the vfx's texture file. |

That's because the gibberish is really a gtf file.use sf4explorer to extract them, and name it 00.gtf and so on, and then put them in the same directory of gtf2dds, and then it well magically make a new file called 00.DDS. do that with the others |
