Hello everyone,

Here is my ultimate modding tutorial for modders willing to get inside advanced modding, since it explain various tools with good detail modders with weak starting concepts can also benefit from it though it is required that you must have some understanding of SF modding and specially file types like emo, emb, emm etc. Additionally it will make the tutorial easier to understand if you have some skill with Blender, specially view port navigation.

Please watch in HD for clear quality.

NOTE: I also tried to upload the HD version of video to OneDrive but for some reason only one part of RAR got uploaded fine and the second part got interrupted two times, so I am tired of monitoring that and gave up on this idea for now, I will try to upload later.

The tutorial is divided in 10 steps so if you have any question then mention the step # and ask your question. I had to keep the length of video in check therefore some slides might go faster than you can read so pause the video and read them. I also apologize for any typos that might occur.

Hope you benefit from the tutorial :)

@MaesterWar

Thanks bro, well you can't say I didn't tried earlier, I tried speaking 2 - 3 times but always end up doing mistakes or getting blank so captions are better, at least my contribution in a rigging tutorial is done now :D

Thanks. you should see my programming system, a mess of icons :D

EDIT:

@Khaled

Btw you find the steps okay bro ? I didn't tried to make it over complicated and didn't went into nook and crannies of rigging, do you think it's enough to get started in rigging ?

Yes it can be applied to both games (SFxT and USF4) though the texture file arrangement is different in SFxT, USF4 use two emb files for example CMY_01_01.col.emb (for textures) and CMY_01.nml.emb (for normals) and CMY_01_02.col.emb is used for second color till CMY_01_10.col.emb which is tenth color while SFxT use only one file for example CMY_01.obj.emb which store textures and normals both and since it allows in game customization there is no need for additional color files.

If you want to know how to paint SFxT customizable textures then see this tutorial

@ Ace : It's very clear and well explained bro, maybe it could be simpler for newbies if all resize mesh parts could be done in misfit3D but every new modder must learn how to use blender because it's the ultimate software for modding so this tutorial is a very good shortcut to it, you did an amazing work bro and there is no excuses now to new modders to pretend not understanding something and hope we will see some awesome mods from them thank to you bro :)

Nice tutorial.
But I don't know Blender at all, so it's a bit tough to follow.
I need to learn the basic stuff first.
