Like the title says, ever want to listen/preview the sound files from outside SFxT game? Or maybe you guys still have some unfinished urge to try on sound modding for SFxT?

As you guys already know, back when the SFxT modding era was still booming, there was no way we can listen any sound or music on outside the game itself as at that time there was no tool/program that can process the acb/awb file used in SFxT (it's different with the one used in SF4), that's why all this time till now we never see any sound/bgm/voice mods for SFxT. Well I think it's possible now because when I am in process of answering the question asked in this thread, I just found out that we can use the "Eternity Audio Tool" (yes it's the program used for any sound mods in SFV atm) to open and listen to the track in acb sound file from SFxT.

If you are curious about this, get the tool from here

Maybe the modding era of SFxT is already kind of over, but we still can use the tool for nostalgia purpose or for extracting the sound for used in other games like SFV, perhaps?

I am interested. SFV sucks and SFxT is still the best SF game with tag battles... I also want to mod Going The Distance (from Rocky) to be the game's menu / versus select screen music; and was wondering where all the sound tolls for the game were!

--EDIT--

Does this tool allow for the importation / creation of new audio for the game? If so, how...?

(thanks)

Well, I didn't try to import any wav/mp3 files into SFxT audio files during my test of opening/listening the audio track back then so I am not sure. But if the Eternity Audio Tool can open the SFxT audio files just fine, so I guess it also can import some wav/mp3 files into them as well.
