Here's a tutorial for duplicating characters: http://filthypants.blogspot.com/2012/07/sfxt-how-to-duplicate-character.html I figured you guys could come up with some clever uses for such a thing, such as storing more mods without using a "mod manager" and/or allowing single-character teams. It should be pretty easy to write a script/tool that will duplicate the necessary files programmatically, so if anyone is interested in doing so... My Windows scripting skills are dismally lacking. When/if a moveset editing tool is created, there will be a lot more uses for this, as well. |

Great finds hunterk! Full roster appears like this on the hacked game on xbox360: ![]() That makes me wonder, are they gonna let holes in the roster where pacman and megaman should be? And that makes so many files to download to add the dlc characters on pc compared to consoles that already have the files on disc... Edited by moddah, Jul 15 2012, 01:02 PM.

Hey thanks for this, but I done every single thing correctly: - I made a duplicate of the folder RYU and named it RY1 - Replaced RYU with RY1 on all the files inside (inc. sound files) - Made duplicates of the RYU_CAL_RYU_E and ...J files and renamed to RYU_CAL_RY1_E and RYU_CAL_RY1_J - Did Step 2 correctly by copying and pasting Ryu's data below it and changed the code = 'RY1' - I used piecemontee's Asset Explorer on 'selector_layout' to decompress it, and changed the #BL (next to #RN) to #RY1 and saved it. BUT now when I try to start the game, it fails to load What have I donr wrong? Please help

@Baoulettes Yes, the ...\pre_battle\stage_select\selector_layout.emz file functions the same way and seems to have 4 blank spots, so making additional stages should be doable. I might make some training stage dupes/mods later on ![]() @Moddah Yeah, I suspect they'll either leave holes or possibly change the layout (probably too much trouble for them :P). The hassle of downloading that much data is (one of) the reason(s) why they put it on the disk in the first place for 360, even if nobody wants to believe it. @Rudi Dunno what's the matter. Is anyone else able to get this to work? Perhaps I missed a step somewhere in the tutorial...? @Easy Mo Not exactly. It's a necessary step in the process, but doesn't really do it on its own. All it does is let us add new character slots and covers which files need to be present/edited to tell the game about the new character. Edited by hunterk, Jul 15 2012, 03:35 PM.
