I'm also still using ver 1.00 and still can use this method [only tried with one characters tough] just create folder "battle" inside folder ".../patch/CMN" if you still don't have it but I think I'll stick with file backup method since it's easier to find the files when I want to mod them [since I put the backup files inside character's folder] |

I can also confirm this method also works with stage, sound, hud or other mods (at least on SSF4AE). |
