@bbb trying to make a new female character who's have the Heihachi moveset, i gave it the Alissa intro, Xiaoyu taunt and Christie pose select char, all these i fix "monkey face" , just for practice customization, I get one of your Morrigan model by default, and when I get more practice I'll try to make on another Nina's body model(because have a nice look '-' ). I'm still practice and looking the modifications works, because of this have so much mix ![]() When the guy done a program who lets we mix animation, my own char (name: Agharta) will have a Ogre Stand pose and some mixed skills. \o/ |

@JynxZ - looking forward to Chae Lin ![]() about the moveset editor, another reason he decided to quit is that he believes not enough people are interested in SFxT, so if you want, you can try posting on his twitter account saying your interested in it and maybe he might consider it. I asked him about it and so have a few others, but we need as much people as possible asking him about it showing that there are more people interested in the game then he may believe if we want any hope for him releasing it. Here is his twitter if you want to ask him https://twitter.com/dantarion Edited by bbb, May 7 2014, 08:23 PM.

@bbb yeah, of course I will *-* I had pay attention on the Obj.ema in AssetsExplorer and saw the skel base who take like reference, because it male movesets on female body becomes a wrong animation (like breasts for example). We reeeealy need this tool *-* Edited by JynxZ, May 8 2014, 05:11 AM.

@jynxZ Actually, secondary animation like breast, hair, cloth, etc are in the 2ry file for each characters costume. So if you give a male move set to a female, in game they will still have their breast animation. It's also possible with a recent tool to swap secondary animation. So if you want to give skirt animation or long hair animation to a character that originally doesn't have that, you can use 2ry merger and steal that animation from a different character. here is the tool http://w11.zetaboards.com/SFxT_Mods/topic/9989969/1/?x=90#new Edited by bbb, May 8 2014, 07:34 PM.

Thanks for the tutorial! I scripted this in Python: https://mega.co.nz/#!AodWkKKJ!IGyq8QUQyxTsbYIAS-T2hpCiUFLULv_lor8tfp7Y1nE (Requires Python 2.7 https://www.python.org/download/releases/2.7.8/ ) I made this for personal use and have no intention of supporting it, so use at your own risk. I take no responsibility if it erases everything on your computer, kills your cat, or burns down your house. The zip file contains these files: AddToCharSelect.py - Replaces the first #BL in the character select file with the target character. Requires you to already have selector_layout.emz uncompressed Usage: AddToCharSelect.py (target) Example: AddToCharSelect.py NEW (adds character NEW to first blank slot) AddToConstLua.py - Copies 'source' character to 'target' in the Const.lua Usage: AddToConstLua.py (source) (target) Example: AddToConstLua.py LIL NEW (copies LIL data in const.lua and sets name to NEW) CloneChar.py - Creates copies of all of the files needed to clone a character (does pretty much every step described in first post, except the hex editing steps) Usage: CloneChar.py (source) (target) Example: CloneChar.py LIL NEW (clones LIL to NEW) CopyFullCharacter.bat - Simply runs all of the scripts required to clone a character. Just use this. Usage: CopyFullCharacter.bat (source) (target) Example: CopyFullCharacter.bat LIL NEW (clones LIL to NEW, creates call files in all character folders, adds to const.lua, adds to character select screen) CopyMoves.py - Gives one characters moves to another, then runs monkeyfix on the obj.ema file to attempt to fix the super animation Usage: CopyMoves.py (source) (target) Example: CopyMoves.py CMY NEW (gives NEW the moves of CMY) CreateCalls.py - Loops through every character directory, copying 'source' call sound files to 'target'. Allows your character to have any tag parnet Usage: CreateCalls.py (source) (target) Example: CreateCalls.py LIL LI2 (copies every character's call for LIL and renames it to LI2) monkeyfixv2_cli.exe - monkeyfixv2 that I hacked to add a command line interface so scripts can call it Usage: monkeyfixv2_cli.exe (source) (target) (output) (mouth scale) (eye scale) Example: monkeyfixv2_cli.exe LIL.obj.ema CMY.obj.ema CMY.obj.ema.new 1.0 1.0 SetTXSFDir.py - Sets the SFxTK directory. I see just now that I put TxSF, but it's already uploaded and I'm not changing it. All this does is writes to txsf_dir.txt. Usage: SetTXSFDir.py "C:\Program Files (x86)\Street Fighter X Tekken" txsf_dir.txt - Holds the SFxTK directory for use in other scripts Usage: Edit in notepad, or use SetTXSFDir.py For example, to create a copy of LIL named LI2 with CMY's moves, you would run: SetTXSFDir.py "C:\Program Files (x86)\Capcom\Street Fighter x Tekken\" (only need to run this once) CopyFullCharacter.bat LIL LI2 CopyMoves.py CMY LI2 Hope someone else finds this useful. Do whatever you want with it. Edited by vayeate7000, Dec 11 2014, 08:09 PM.

How do I go about modifying the duped character name, both in battle and at Character Select? Is it just a texture file I need to edit somewhere? And, how do I assign a character icon to the duplicated character?

For modifying the duped character's name and also portrait in battle, you need to open this file with SF4Explorer and extract the dds (texture) files to some folder, and then edit them with Photoshop or GIMP. x:\Program Files\CAPCOM\Street Fighter X Tekken\patch\CMN\battle\chara\XXX\XXX.hud.emz It's not possible to have the duped character's name displayed in Character Select screen. Also it's not possible to have the duped character's icon displayed in Character Select screen. The only exception is Unknown made by bbb, that's because he uses the character code UNK and that causes the game to display a slightly different icon from any other duped characters's blank icon, and in turn bbb uses this opportunity to edit that particular icon to become Unknown's face icon. |

That's very interesting, and kind of annoying. I'm trying to think of a way to work around that from a technical standpoint, but I have no ideas. |
