If you only want to replace feet there is no problem, many mods are made that way. If you want to make a full model of Alisa with Juri's feet is possible too, but that requires much more work. |

Hi Sega, I was trying the new weight transfer feature as you told in picture, I have a question that if I want to copy weights of chest, stomach and waist. Do I have to copy them one by one by selecting source vertex group and clicking on transfer weight ? Is there no way to transfer all vertex groups along with empty ones at the same time ? |

Ok I saw the pic you posted carefully and found the mistake I was doing, thanks Sega for the wonderful share. I do have another question that when I apply this technique on some items, lets say a shirt then some parts of the shirt get deformed (look ugly) specially the collar, any tip you have for this issue ? |

@doublekill: You've got info and tools here. @BrutalAce: To the first post, you must select "All" in Group. To the second post, try unchecking "All Deform Weights" in Limit Total options. @streetfighterrox: Doesn't every model have those bones? |

I never tried to add bones "Manually". Maybe clicking in the (+) button in the Vertex Group panel? |

Hi, @Sega I saw and "All Deform Weights" was already unchecked. I don't know why this happens but every time I try to use this, some parts of the mesh get weird shapes, not very noticeable but still they act weird. @streetfighterrox Manually adding bones is very difficult, I tried that when I didn't knew about weight copy plug-in and the result was a mess. It has many things involved like proper weight paint, inverse kinematics and who knows what else. |
