No idea. Though I know that the old costume unlocker for SSF4AE worked online and I haven't been banned for it yet. That's a totally different program though. |

@e107: How is the progress with the extra costume slots unlocker? |

These extra new features not present in the original sfxt should be made as separate individual mods. That way we can pick and choose what we want to use. Afterall, the program is called 'costume unlocker' and I don't want my game to be broken ![]() 1 vs 1 and no abc auto-launching ftw

Agree with shinra358. If it would be possible I'd like to see two separate unlockers, one for just costumes and colors and the other for the extra stuff like choosing same characters on one team. |

Honestly, I'd rather they figure out the "same .emo" problem Or at least try to |

If you only want the costume and color unlocker, just use the old version (v2.3). Also agree with pooltastic. Edited by robhal, Feb 24 2013, 09:35 PM.

I also agree with pooltastic. if that problem was to be solved, robhals character duplication method could be used to have practically unlimited costume slots |

@bbb: The solution is when in the char select screen, by forcing the game to read the costume files always from the harddisk each time we pick costume. This is my theory (actually BrutalAce's theory), but I don't know to make the game do that. I know that because I had done some tests. Eg.: I want to use Poison Bayonetta and Asuka C3. To try acomplish that, I do these steps: 1. First I use Poison's original C1 when at char select screen. Pick her C1 and Asuka C3. 2. Then when at stage select screen, I alt-tab to desktop and replace Poison Original C1 with Poison Bayonetta. 3. Alt-tab again to the game and at fight screen, I still see Poison C1, not the Bayonetta. Edited by robhal, Feb 25 2013, 02:22 AM.

This sounds like an exe thing to me. Ive spent lots of time looking through files that could cause this and even tried hex editing emos to make the game think they are different but had no luck. I even looked though the exe but i have no knowledge in this sort of thing, but im sure the issue is in there. So I think the only 2 options is to have an unlocker fix this, or some how edit emos to make the game think they are different. If you think the problem is with the character select screen, there is one test you could do, but kind of a hassle. you could wait at the start screen and let the demo play and hope those 2 costumes get picked and see if they crash since that process skips the select screen and has the characters picked randomly. editing the character select screen to only have 2 characters may make things easier to test that. |
