How to manually rig bones using Milkshape; UPDATE : How to rig any bone you want without crash :)

EDIT: when i open the skeleton.smd file it looks all messed up and then when i open the obj file it looks the same :(

uncheck the case "Show skeleton"

Thanks sooo much for this Khaled. Now I just need to watch tutorials on how to use Milkshape. This should open some new possibilities. Youtube here I come.

You're welcome Lee, in fact you can use Misfit3D for all stuff you know to do (size and position) and leave Milkshape just for rigging bones ;)

yea I was using your method and I think I have it pretty much down. I only had one error and I believe it happened cause I had 2 objects too close together and I ended up rigging overlapping parts to 2 different bones which caused it to warp.Other than that a very awesome method.

now I just need to get weight painting down.

MilkShape3D Wont let me select vertex's :(

uncheck "draw vertices with bone colors" when you want to select, also don't forget to go to model/tools, click on select and choose vertice
