I've finished this with Autohotkey. It allows me to select costumes for two characters, restore all costumes to default or assign random custom costumes to all of them, if they have custom costumes installed. It works by copying the files from the subfolders in D:\Street Fighter X Tekken\patch\CMN\battle\chara\*** These subfolders contain the different costumes, for instance: D:\Street Fighter X Tekken\patch\CMN\battle\chara\JUL\02-lady, D:\Street Fighter X Tekken\patch\CMN\battle\chara\JUL\03-bikini, etc. The name 0* isn't important; it's just for me to know if the costume is swap or alternate. The costume files must be complete, with 12 files. It was a little tricky to make the droplist work, because the name of the chars doesn't always correspond with the name of their folders. Also, the random selection of costumes was challenging. It takes a while, specially if you have many costumes installed. The best thing of this script is that I call it (I use another script as a launcher for my game) with F4, so I can change costumes while the game is running. As soon as you cancel or finish your selection, SFxTK is activated again and you're back on the game. I can pass you the code or the program already compiled, although I have only tested it in my computer and I cannot guarantee that it will not mess up your files. If you have any problem like a black screen and nothing after that, it may be the fullscreen black gui hiding the sftk*.exe logo. Try disabling it from the source or tell me and I'll do it for you. Here it's working fine. ![]() Download: Launcher and Costume Selector Edited by Elapido, May 23 2013, 11:59 AM.

Looks interesting. I only use the official costumes myself and the 360 backports of the ones not yet released on PC (with e107s unlocker) but I am sure others here would appreciate such a tool. Edited by DarkSamus, Jan 24 2013, 04:00 PM.

I've made some changes. For instance, the first time you run it, it promts you to select you SFXTK folder, and then a .ini is created with that info so that the program can run in any configuration. I've also make the costume selection choose the standard costume by default, and the costume dropdownlist is disabled until you select a character. I've also added a tiny message in the left corner that appears when the tasks are being executed. I'm now investigating if it's possible to grey out the chars that don't have custom costumes installed in the dropdownlist. |

OK, it's finished. Let me know if you have any problem. Here it's working perfectly. However, use at your own risk. Remember, place the files and the 'stuff' folder into the root of your game folder. Every costume pack of files must be in a folder with the name you wish inside the Street Fighter X Tekken\patch\CMN\battle\chara folder. For instance, D:\Street Fighter X Tekken\patch\CMN\battle\chara\ALS\bikini. You can have as many folders with costumes as you want. I've removed the ini for the costume selector because it's really not necessary, as long as you place the .exe in your SFxTK folder. Also, now the costume selector also features music, which randomly chooses between SF or TK. It can be muted from the GUI. I've added a Launcher as another .exe file, which runs the game. It has two hotkeys, F1 to quit the game and F4 to launch the costume selector. When you finish in the costume selector, the game will be reactivated automatically. This launcher is configurable and the first time you use it will prompt you for the name of the .exe (here I'm using sftk_v2.3@e107.exe, which may change with future releases). The launcher uses a fullscreen black gui during the first seconds to hide the logo that is displayed by this exe. Download: Launcher and Costume Selector Edited by Elapido, Jan 26 2013, 07:27 AM.

Mmm... doesn't work for me, when I double click the .exe my pc literally obliterates it ( I have to unzip it again ) and claim that the file is missing. I'm on Win7 64bit. |
