Alternative solution for question 1 : if Evil Ryu use Akuma's moveset, Leave Ryu as it is (original) append all Evil Ryu's EMG in Akuma's emo, adjust Evil Ryu's face and body to Akuma's face and body, of course use the emm to alphatest the unwanted material for each character and that's it, no need for monkeyfix anything |

I manage to solve problem 2 by using iruzumi code on ryu's eyes material then use emmedit to alphatest ryu's eyes. For problem 3, I even used iruzumi code on all evil ryu's material (except his eyes, need the glowing effect). Still got the lifebar issue. For number 1, I haven't use khaled's way to use akuma emo. I am sure it will work, but still got the issue 3 to solve. So I think I will drop this compatibility pack. Atleast I got something to learn about making compatible mod pack on here. Thank you to all.

Well that's weird bro, I never got the lifebar overlap issue with the iruzumi code, try to put that code even on evil ryu eyes (you can make them glow by adding the line "glare" in emmedit) and also duplicate emm 1 and rename it to emm 2 and to pdr to see if it resolves the problem |

@Robhal I am not sure if I am giving the right answer, I have yet to make my first compatible emo so I am inexperienced in this but for some reason the iruzumi code didn't solved life bar issue for me as well, that is why I was forced to use customizable shader on Raiden's visor, fortunately the mod had all black color so it was easy to match it but I don't know why iruzumi code doesn't work for us but what shader you're using on evil ryu's eyes ? I think Emission_W is also a non-customizable shader so you can use iruzumi code with that. You just have to paint bright red in dds file and Emission_W will make it glow, you can also use glare like Khaled said for additional glowing. |

@Khaled: I put the iruzumi code to Evil Ryu's eyes and add glare propertiy emmedit, now the eyes don't glow anymore and still having lifebar issue. The eyes must be using the Emmission_W shader + glare (just like BrutalAce said above) to have the glowing eyes. FYI, the problem #2 (the eyes) is solved. Now for problem #3 (lifebar issue), in all materials (except the eyes ofcourse) I use iruzumi code. and I notice in battle only the body (not the clothes or other) that only got lifebar transparency issue. @BrutalAce: Yes, the eyes used Emission_W shader, not using the iruzumi code. Thanks bro, the eyes issue already solved. Now the problem is the Evil Ryu's body (not the clothes or other things) overlap with lifebar. Ryu don't have any problems at all. It's okay bro. After all we learn from trial and error, right? And also I want to tell this, in ryu emo, I used iruzumi code + alphatest to hide all evil ryu's materials (including the eyes).

Yes bro you're right ![]() Okay let me summarize this because I'll be building a compatible emo soon, if I am going to use lars C2 emo then I append all new Guy emgs in it, then paint black in alpha layer of all lars dds files and use Alpha test in all lars materials to make them invisible, that's it ? |

Yes, that's right. Also to hide lars' eyes, you may need the iruzumi code + alphatest (on pdr.emm, just need to change the shader). That's what I do to hide ryu's eyes on evil ryu's emo. The other ryu / lars materials don't need the iruzumi code. Edited by robhal, Jun 1 2013, 08:27 AM.

I guess I was lucky until now for not getting the lifebar overlap issue when I used iruzumi code in all my mods ![]() @ robhal : that's the tongue/mouth code you used, strange that it solved the problem but anyway, it's fixed right ? ![]() and about iruzumi + glare : Evil Ryu eyes are red so make sure to select the red color in Matdiff and MatAmb in Emmedit for eyes |
