Falling down

I seem to notice I start falling down a lot when my horse gets below 80% in health in normal racing. In scramble I fall maybe once or twice during the entire hour of the scramble without refreshing once. I certainly fall less now that I use legendary jockeys during the scramble. I think there is a connection with the control stat for jockeys and falling. Just my own theory. I have been told that the higher the track adaptability makes for less falling on that surface of track.

Just some thoughts on that subject.

Below 80% health is about right because my own horses seem to fall more often below that number as well.
Your jockey having more control is a great theory that may even be true and it makes sense.
More better control means less falling down so that's something I myself have to work on. Great insight my friend!

I agree on the control having an effect on falls. I noticed this myself early on in the game.
Other than that falls are also random. I have falls when stats are at 100 as often as I do at any time. Yes below 80 and the chances grow but I never understood why people would race any stat below what the available items would give you back. eg: 50 points for massage lotion/state ..
