I am not really a complainer but I understand peoples frustration with the present state of Stallion Race. I too loved the really good drop rate and good success in getting items you were needing when I started. I began the game on server 3 last October and then moved to server 4 because I wanted to start fresh. The game was still really new and I am sure the developers wanted to draw people to play it. So, they made it easy for people to get items fast and easy. They went crazy during the holidays and new people joined and got used to the even more increased gift and item drops. Then it stopped.

There was a time before the holidays that if you voiced a concern on the Stallion Race group page that you would get a response from (what I believe) a developer. Angel Hebe was the name. While many times it was a formulaic response; it sort of showed that they at least were reading the comments. Now I am not even certain of that. I guess when 90% of the comments are complaints about the game, they stopped reading them. I really hope they choose to comment again.

My point is that they had very liberal drops in the beginning to attract people. Tightening the drop rate this much means that people will get frustrated and leave. Active player numbers are decreasing and the game is still less than a year old. So, I am willing to say that the developers will adjust again to keep people. It is the cycle. The developers need to find the sweet spot in the drop rate to gain people and not lose player at the current rate. They do need to make money and I understand why they want to drive people towards spending credits on items but if the make it hard on people then they don't spend money to get the credits. Tough balance and I don't envy them.

My main frustration is that the essence drop rate in explore has become close to non-existent. I am now getting an essence drop for every 6 to 8 times I explore on avg. It can take 2 or more days to get the required 4 essences and when I do there is no guarantee that it will be successful. My opinion is that if you want to keep the success rate the same increase the drop rate. My legendary horse will be age 6 before it can truly be competitive in the scrambles and contests.

So, my choice is to just play through the cycles.

ur right it is in cycles cuz just last week I was complaining on net getting books and essence etc. Now in 3 days I got 12 essences so far so yes cycles it is all about %'s I guess :(

These are great concerns that I myself have addressed concerning the decrease rate of rewards dropping
which I do agree will disappoint players to the point where they will leave.
This is one of the reasons why I took a break from the game but realized that it was still fun because
of the other members. Alex I think you should post this on the FB discussion page
because I'm not sure if they even read our posts here in the forums.
