Summons

Summons are like pets, in that they're separate beings from the user, but have other differences separating them out. Summons are able to talk, use jutsu all on their own, and do motions independent of the owner. The drawback, however, is they require a chakra cost to stay out, draining the user to keep out. They also require
*Spiritualism Technique to bring out. The strength of the summon a character can summon is based off their stamina

There are many types of summons, compared to other types of companions. They are singular, swarms, and summon lines. The first two all use the same template. Summon lines are a bit different and are explained here

Lastly, the closer to human form something is, the higher rank it will be.

Singular Summons

Singular summons take up companion slots based on their starting rank.

Summons are able to start the the following stats and jutsu amounts:

Owners Stamina RangeStats to SpendJutsu at Start UpCompanion Slots Taken Up
10 Stamina to 25 Stamina255 Jutsu at start up1 Companion Slot
26 Stamina through 50 Stamina5010 Jutsu at start up2 Companion Slots
51 Stamina through 100 Stamina12515 Jutsu at start up3 Companion Slots
101 Stamina through 200 Stamina250 20 Jutsu at start up4 Companion Slots
201+ Stamina50025 Jutsu at start up4 Companion Slots

In order to register a pet, you must post it here: http://s1.zetaboards.com/Naruto_Saigen_RP/forum/547114/

Once it is accepted, you must do a mission concerning the summon in some facet, such as but not limited to, fighting the companion, finding the companions summon scroll, rescuing the companion, or earning it's approval. You can request a certain type of mission, or simply leave it to the roleplay mod to determine. The mission must be C-rank or above.

Summon earn stats, points, and jutsu much like the owners do. Being an active part of a mission, social or lonely grants them the standard reward for the thread. If the moderator feels that the pet played a lesser role in the mission, they can get a reduced pay out from it.

Summoning Lines
Summon Lines

Summons within a Summon Line are subjected to the same rules summons are in jutsu amounts, rank caps, stat caps, amount of stat training, and ranking up. Summons within a Summon Line, however, are exempt from limitations put on by slots. Summons in a Summon Line don't take up companion slots. Summons in a Summon Line can Rank-Up, train their stats and buy jutsu. To obtain a Summon for a Summon Line, the user must pass a Mission of a Rank relative to the Summon's Rank. The Summon itself will be awarded to the character rather than points and a jutsu.

To obtain a Summon Line, the character must have 8 empty companion slots and at least one empty ability slot. Once that condition is met, the user takes the following ability:

Summon Line

After forming a contract with a family of Summons, the user is capable of calling members of the Summon family into battle. Unlike other Shinobi, the user owns a single contract which binds many summons to the user and so Summon a larger array of companions.

Additionally, each Summon of the Summon Line, requires the following ability:

Summon Line

After forming a contract with its owner, this summon can be called into battle with other members of its family of Summons. This companion shares its contract with many other Summons and can be brought into battle along side them.

This prevents them from using extensions or possessing any other unique abilities. The exception is made for a special type of S-Rank Summon.

Summon Line: Giant Summon

After forming a contract with its owner, this summon can be called into battle with other members of its family of Summons. This type of summon is exponentially large in comparison to the average companion and requires a large amount of chakra to bring out. This companion also shares its contract with other Summons in its family and can be brought into battle along side them.

A summon with this specific ability, however, can only be obtained on an S-Rank mission. Additionally, the size of this summon is denoted elsewhere on the app.

Swarms

The Swarm rules are currently undergoing a revamp.

Disclaimer: Anything that doesn't fit in with the universe or could just be a character will not be allowed to be a summon. If you have any questions regarding this, please ask an administrator.

Oops. Forgot to make a separate post for these rules, so the top post is the updated version.
