A sardinian entrepreneur, Francesco Lisci, has developed some engines powered by urine. The entrepreneur, originally from Gonnosfanadiga, a small town in the province of Cagliari, says he is confident about the future of the original engine proposed by him and has already had the approval of Legambiente (an Italian environmentalist association ) for its low or no environmental impact. Lisci has developed two types of engines, one for motor vehicles, the other for static use inside buildings. One of the technical problems related to condensation, has been solved by using a specific filter in 100% pure Sardinian sheep wool , produced by Edilana. Its properties are de-polluting and make it possible to use without damaging the engine.
