I'm very impressed to see the solidarity among the population, in Olbia the students from the city schools are aiding the soldiers of the Sassari Brigade, the firefighters and the police to remove mud and rubble from the streets, now great part of the town is clean and the roads practicable.
:woot:

Most of the 3,000 displaced persons were accommodated in private homes and hotels, and the food supplies and medicines arrived from the other part of the island outweigh the needs. :aww

Thanx!

Sense of community and solidarity are common features among Sardinians, i'm not surprised of this great civic mobilization.

You live in Olbia, don't you?
It was the most affected area of the island by the cyclone, i'm really sorry! :(
I have many friends there, when they told what's happened, i was really shocked and incredulous.

A news that i have just read: one of the rocky columns off the coasts of the island of San Pietro, which were even declared a natural monument years ago, is collapsed due to the strength of the cyclone. :(

Yes, i live in Olbia, but fortunately my district wasn't seriously involved by the flood being in an elevated position.
