Humans like to control [dominate]. They reduce reality to a model in order to reshape the world in accordance to their whim. However, this control is not authentic; it has flaws. The instrumentality of this kind of control relies on the power to minimize uncertainty. However, reality has a chaotic pattern that does not relate to human models. This contradiction shows the biggest failing of rational control: the lack of vision. It can only control what is in the narrow scope of its power. Sometimes, they stubbornly try to predict the unpredictable by controlling uncertainty, but they always fail. By controlling nothing, we understand the ways of nature and act accordingly. The real control is to have no control. He who lives in the spontaneity of the moment knows this. Readiness is his only weapon and he uses it intuitively. The goal is not to be ready for anything, because that is dependent of an anticipated thought. Readiness itself – this is the truest control of all. To illustrate the point in a sarcastic way, I will quote an unusual source:
The end of the story is: Be quick or be dead. |

Take those hands out of those pockets. Be ready. |
