Phobia.

I see, time and again, accusations by the left of 'fear' towards anyone who is able to recognize a looming threat.
Thus does the term 'fear' come to mean 'awareness'.

Awareness of danger does not mean one fears it.
But then, the voracious monster of those prone to accuse others of 'phobias' always needs something more to unload on.

Xenophobia, homophobia, islamophobia...
You name it: if you're aware of something damaging, to the left, you are scared of it.

I see them as lifeophobes.

Yes Crow, I do not understand this madness of 'we must be safe' whilst they support the strangest out there groups.

I saw an interview with a UK scientist. He is a supporter of Nuclear energy and climate change, he said that a group of climate change scientists turned their back on him whilst he was presenting and accused him of being 'in the pay of nuclear energy' and then walked out.

How very strange from scientists whose cool unemotional heads seem to have been turned.

Perhaps you give too much credit to those who are currently known as 'scientists'.
They are not like they used to be, similarly to just about everything else.
Few dare risk being unpopular.

I find as I have got older that I am less tolerant and less accepting of stupidity. The maxim of "It is easy to make friends just agree with everything they say" holds little for me. I used to be so easy going but now I am not so.

I always assumed getting older would make one more tolerant, doesn't seem so in my case.

My unpopularity is rising, in line with my lack of acceptance of others ideas 'Of the Moment' or maybe better stated as 'Fashion' 'turn to the left' as David Bowie sang.

Do you notice the waves of cliched thinking that go through the world?

Most of thinking is cliched in the first place. Intuition comes first and thinking steal it (like prometheus stole the secrets of the Gods) and make it his own property.
