Back when I was a Pentecostal Christian, there was much talk of 'The Last Days', with heavy reference to the writings contained in The New Testament. There would be, it was told, a series of 'signs' that would herald the coming of this time. I've seen (what could be) most of them, already, and it may well be that we are actually experiencing the last days. Do you get a sense of this, too? If so, does it bother you? If it does, why? Every age has their doomsday preachers. I'm sure plenty of Romans circa 400 AD probably felt that it was the last days, and it was in a sense, but just for their civilization. |

It is true Crow, the end of days is at hand but not for most on this site. Ha! The end of man is written into the DNA of this planet and our time here is but a brief blink in the also, but much longer end of days for this planet, sun and cosmos. Nothing in all of the universe(s) lives forever, birth and death are the strings that hold us up and continue on their way until the other end, which nobody has any idea about. It is the great conundrum that Zen and the Tao points obliquely to. |
