Taoism is the blueprint for any human's philosophy, religion, or orientation towards life, reduced to its barest essentials. Any more and it would be arcane. Any less and it would be lacking. All it is, and all it says, is: "It Is what It Is". When a human is able to manifest this wisdom, neither adding, nor subtracting, anything to or from anything, then mental processing - interpretation - ceases to be a factor. This is as close as an unenlightened human comes to objectivity. The observance of Reality. Thus, as a Way, taoism excels, until a point is reached, if it ever is, where even taoism becomes redundant. |

Taoism reveals truths too simple to be noticed. The intellect races by such things, detecting nothing of note. Thus do vast chunks of life become invisible, and missing. "Life is meaningless" the intellect claims. And to the intellect, it certainly is. But to the intuitive, life is a verdant paradise of intricate experience and mystery. It's all there, all the time, missed by the many, and Heaven to the few. |

Taoism is the removal of mind from that which mind ponders. |

The intellect is a bit like a child. A good child is an obedient child. When a child throws tantrums and controls his parents, he is a bad child. A good intellect knows its place, and obeys, dutifully. |

What would you call this thing that the good intellect dutifully obeys? |

My soul. "My" like "my God," not "my boots." |
