When the mind is taught to analyse, it becomes a monster. Ravenous, always, dissecting everything and anything, to feed its obsession with being forever busy. This is the reason intellectuals can not become enlightened, let alone content. For it is analysis that prevents it. Judging, weighing, comparing, deconstructing, from an external vantage, always separate. Life never gets lived, this way, only criticized. The spiritual adept learns to still his mind, retraining it to become as a passive sonar, rather than an active one. It is then able to detect what is there without changing what is there, the better to become what is there. And without presenting a threat to what is there. Be still. Be quiet. Be camouflaged. Become what surrounds you. Until, at length, there is no more 'you'. |

Whoever this 'crow' character is, I have come to really appreciate him. A mysterious presence, from nowhere, revealing life to those who might otherwise miss it. |
