“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” Jesus had died for the sins of the world as no one else may for others. This is good news for it should remove all burden from one's own conscious. A man may put away his toil and work. One may never do for another what they must do for themselves. Let the good news be that we all may reign over our own death. A lesson the martyrs learned too late though right on time. Edited by Theseus, Oct 25 2016, 05:34 PM.

If God created the universe and everything in it, does it sound likely that he only had this one begotten son? You can bet Jesus didn't come up with that one. Sometimes I see The Bible as an early attempt at a wikipedia. |
