Every leftist approaches the whole of society - indeed, the world, itself - as no more than a personal accessory. Hubris, or what? |

Worse than a personal accessory - they approach the world as part of themselves. They are deluded into believing that they have complete, rightful, absolute, justified control over themselves, and thus over the "world." That's why they always throw tantrums when things don't go their way; the mere fact of something being other than they want is a personal attack from a cruel world. Inverted logic, as Mr. Stevens would say. And if you approach the world as something that you're part of? Well, you must be insane. |

It's hard to describe what leftists do, because it is incomprehensible to anybody else. All you can do is observe it, and leave it at that. It seems completely crazy, probably because that's what it is. Thank God I'm not like them, and thank God this site exists. Actually, thank God, period |

That looks silly, but it's actually true. I couldn't believe it when I finally realized that many people actually don't know Reality exists. They think it all happens in their minds, and sadly, for them, it does. There's no possible way to communicate with those people. Unless one suspects there is something very wrong, and sets out deliberately to discover what it is, one will never be any the wiser. Fortunately for me, this suspicion came with the territory. I couldn't have been older than four, when I started to question what everybody else seemed to think was 'life'. I had a native conviction that there simply had to more to it than what I was expected to subscribe to. Hubris is the way of the moron. And paradoxically, the more intelligent the moron, the more moronic the intelligence. |
