Silence makes you scream
The void is terrifying
Take heart; all is well

You don't have a soul
This awareness is not yours
Truth: a soul has you!

red fox observes
quiet uninvolved
moved by the stars

stars observe fox
silent unmoved
involved in existence
"Squawk!" said the crow, and then made space.

Agh, you've stumped me!

...Thanks! :)
The fox moves, but is not involved. The stars don't move, but are involved. The stars are what move the fox.

I don't understand it but I love it. Will contemplate.
"Not the wind, not the flag..."
For some reason, I am laughing out loud as I type this. It's so profound, but so funny....
Good God! I haven't done any drugs in a long time but for some reason I feel stoned. Everything is hilarious right now.
No more contemplation. Time to meditate.

Good lord, did that meditation really last 30 minutes!? It felt like 10! Regardless, the crow has done a big favor for the fox. The fox isn't so shy, now.

*bows*
(or did the stars do a favor for themselves, and the fox and crow are just acting it out?)
(or did the - gahhh, nevermind! Done with words right now. I'm going to go take a walk and look at the stars, if they're out tonight)

Only you would know.

My wife read all this, and loved the avatar as much as I do.
We knew many a fox in London. In fact, our main fox came back to us, as a raccoon, and lived long and happily.
There is no doubt that she was the vixen, and the vixen, her.
She'll likely be back again, soon, as something else.

"Squawk!" said the crow, and then made space.
