Do you notice obsession around you?
People love to obsess.

One glance at 'the news' confirms this, in the most readily observable way.
What people wear, look like, behave like, where they go, what they do, what they think, say, want, hate, what they might do or might think, what they did do and did think, what you should think of what they think, or do, or did, or might...

And then there's climate change, nuclear war, pandemic, ageing, sexism, bigotry, racism, and oppression.

Is it any wonder that people are insane? Or that by association, to some degree you are too?

It is not easy to step back from all this social asphyxiation, and just be calm.
But if it was, everybody would be doing it.

Maybe it's your turn to detach, get off the bus, walk away, notice the other 99.9% of life, and live it.
Maybe it's time.

Crow: "Maybe it's your turn to detach, get off the bus, walk away, notice the other 99.9% of life, and live it.
Maybe it's time."

You make some impossible claims that are so simple to you. The rest of us are shackled by the limitations of our own understanding. So many things seem simple post enlightenment which are impossible from this side of the fence.

Take your mind back to that time?

I would if I could, but I can't, because I was never there.
Whoever was, died and stayed dead. I came back in his place.
Greater love hath no man, than he who lays down his life for his...

That's the price of admission. But I am happy to report that there is no pain involved, and no loss.

See what I mean? Too much thinking on my part, brings up mystery within a maze on your part.

Still it was always thus..

If I try hard, I remember being terribly unhappy, but on a level deeper than the daily-conscious.
Acting as if I was okay, like everybody else, because that's what you're supposed to do.
But I knew I wasn't okay, really, even when I felt okay.

One day I noticed just how much dishonesty had taken my life over, and that it was this that was wrong.
A spontaneous decision to never be dishonest again.
That was a big moment.

Walking away from lies is a very big move in our society where they are not considered bad but quite important if you want to win an argument. Then there are the little lies "Does my arse look big in this" type which are almost universal in the female world where the desire to be 'nice and accepted' is at epidemic levels.

I would always tell the truth and rarely swore up until about 15 years ago when I fell under the spell of swearing as normal. Which is not good. I am resisting lies and always say "If you want to know the truth as I see it, I will tell you but you may not like it". It is amazing how many people do not take this any further.
