Blending & juicing; eating better

Long ago, I was very much into discovering the perfect diet, for optimal health, in an effort to push myself to become the best version of myself. Soaking and sprouting
seeds or legumes, to make flat bread or gruel or whatever. I was looking for something, a better life, and perfecting my diet seemed like that could be a way towards it.

Unfortunately that was not to last especially due to monetary reasons. For the moment I have a little financial stability for the first time in my life.

And so I have invested in a blender.

I blend much kale, spinach and veggies. Fresh stuff, or precooked for soups. Fresh fruit juices each day. Oranges are tasty but not very good for blood sugar levels and so I am moving on to grapefruit.

With fruits like oranges I save the pith. There is much rest-product or pulp after blending, it doesn't bother me with fruits. But with kale I put that through a strainer and apply pressure, with a spoon, to squeeze the last juices out of it.

Blending isn't optimal for many reasons. Juicing is much better, but gets messier and takes more time. Blending is much more practical, and so blending it is, perfect for me.

Some of it taste horrendous, especially green drinks, but later your stomach lit up with happiness. Adding an apple can really make a difference.

I ordered a new juicer, the Omega VSJ843. That's a Vertical Slow Juicer at 43 rotations per minute...

One of John Kohler's, an unrivalled juicing enthusiast, absolute favorite juicers.

The guy has mellowed over the years. Good to see him on video again. I love him :). https://www.youtube.com/user/rawfoods/videos

With one juicer and one blender I'm all set up for optimal health. I plan on juicing the blender mostly to mix soups, and the juicer to juice all kinds of veggies or fruits.

Fresh foods have great effects on your being.
