A light breeze on a sunny day, a breeze which slowly swept across the grassy fields alongside a dirt road which led from the nearby town of Inori to the greater unknown of the Ovashi Plains. It was quite a beautiful day on this faithful days, birds heard chirping along with the light howl of the wind. It being a direct contract to something which lies on the side of the road just a short few miles out of town. A body, face down in the grass, blood polling, staining the beautiful grass a dark shade of crimson. The body belonged to a young woman by the name of Rin belonging to the family Ishida. A young woman who had been on a personal quest in the name of her Father, a young woman who would fail in this quest as she continued to lie there, eyes closed, her hands each grasping a large clump of grass them them, her sword at her side.

She only sixteen years of age and on the verge of death as she continues to bleed out, she just barely remaining conscious, another with every moment that her blood continued to spill, she could feel thats slipping away. Her mind beginning to play back to the occurrence of just ten minutes ago. The duel she had entered with him, the Blonde Haired swordsmen. It having started just like any other duel except he had challenged her, seemingly to know of her or the stories in the least. Of course Rin wouldn't back down and welcomes the fight. Something which quickly escalated into more than just a friendly duel in a hurry. As she was quick to go on the offense, swinging her Katana with precision, aimed for the man, she was stunned when he just simply sidestepped her swipe with nothing more than a light chuckle escaping his lips. "Too slow..." He mocked which only irked the young Rin.

The fight had proceeded in much of the same fashion, he dodging or reflecting much of Rin's attacks and quickly setting her back on the defense for the first time in her life since training with her Father. This only fueling the fire in her temper as she slowly began to lose technique and skill in her strikes and slowly began to use just brute force which only earned her a quick kick to the ribs, sending her to the ground, coughing as she desperately wanted the air back which had been driven from her lungs. Something which only got an annoyed sigh from him in response. "Your regressing, certainly you were taught better, or perhaps your mentor is just as big a failure as yourself, only a fool would think you were anything special to begin with." The main said and almost immediately a fire underneath Rin had been lit. Immediately she had forgotten all about the breath she needed, the duel itself, she just wanted to draw blood from this man who dare insult her Father so carelessly.

So be it if he wanted to insult her, but he would NEVER get away with such things if she could have any sort of say in matter. Jumping back to her feet with a new breath, she immediately rushed this man and began to attack once more. The only problem with her assault while it seemed he was struggling a tad more with her now was that she was still just swinging wildly at the air, no technique or skill. Even more so now as she seemed to be blinded by pure rage at this point as she still couldn't land a hit on him. He still seemingly toying with her until finally he had enough of it and simply....disappeared? Almost immediately Rin began to look to her left and right, gritting her teeth as she let out a small growl in frustration to losing him. "Tsk tsk, such an angry one." His words rang out almost in a sing song fashion as she felt the cold steel of his blade likely tapping her on the shoulder. Without even thinking about it, she turned around only to immediately have said steel rammed through her body, the sword pushed through clean to the other side of her body through her gut.

Immediately Rin had dropped her sword as blood began to seep through her lips at an alarming rate. As the sword was pulled free, she had quickly dropped to her knees before falling straight to her face as the man simply muttered "Pathetic" before walking away, leaving her to die. These memories recent in her mind began to haunt young Rin whole couldn't help but think to her Father and the failure, the dishonor she had brought his name by losing. Not being able to do anything to punish that man for the words he had chosen when addressing him. Here she was now, defenseless, dying, her heart practically tearing her apart.

She would remain conscious long enough to see the first set of beings to find her fallen body, immediately displeased even from her current position of her face in the ground to see the unsavory characters of bandits which looked on with glee toward her fallen body. Immediately a feeling of dread overtook her weakening body as she watched them approach her, cackling as they looked her over. One eventually going to her right side and reaching to retrieve her sword. Something she would greet by allowing her grip on the grass to relinquish and grab hold of the hilt of her blade. Earning a hideous laugh from this group of five men. "Little bitch is still alive huh?" The one grabbing for her sword said with a sickening chuckle before immediately kicking her body in the ribs as punishment for her actions. Whilst she let out but a weak cry she wouldn't allow herself to let go.

This only annoyed the man further and further as he continued to kick her over and over again, Each time her cries of pain getting weaker and weaker before finally someone stepped in. "Hey, hey take it easy, afterall, she's still alive right? Why not have a bit of "fun" while she's still breathing eh?" The ever proud Rin would not allow herself to cry, even as she heard these chilling words upon what they would consider fun on her body. Her hand never left her sword as these men all seemed to come to agree in what was suggested as to the fate of Rin.

Ari sat their, still on her back paws and rump, her front paws were off the ground, over all sitting like this made her seem even taller, she was looking though from the wolves, then to the other creatures, humanish? She had heard stories of humans, bipedal critters known for ravaging lands, enslaving things they didn’t understand and what not. She listened to them each watching, as one female seemed injured, the blood about her chest having the stronger scent matching the scent she had followed partially to where she had stumbled and fallen on a wolf. She would stretch out her front paws, trying to bat at the wolf closest to her, pointing away from herself. * shoo.. shoo go away….. * her voice a bit shaky as she pressed her left front foot-paw against the wolfs side after being told she was safe. * Go away…. * half shifting to the side she would take to all four paws again, not turning her back to the animals. She would bump into another wolf, almost stepping on it’s tail as she lifted her rear right paw, looking back at it. * I’m sorry.. I didn’t mean to! Just.. ..g..o over there…. * pointing again as she lifted her left front paw and poked at the beast.

For the moment she was almost entirely oblivious to the others and what they were doing, with one of them being injured. Her attention turning to the one that told her the wolves wouldn’t hurt her as they had already eaten. * wh.. whaa… I.. I’m not food… * that comment did not instill confidence in her that they wouldn’t try and eat her later even. She stood there fidgeting on her foot-paws, and moving around a bit, she froze though looking in the direction the wolves did when they started to give of low growls. * not.. good….. not good… I don’t wanna be eaten… it’ll hurt.. * gulping some she backed up, slowly her tail curled between her legs as she’d trip over Lobo, stumbling a bit before dropping and laying down, even curling up to herself. * I’m not food…. I’m not … * she had that thought stuck in her head now but was to surrounded to make a break for it, even between tree’s she was fastest on flatter open ground.

Remaining curled for a while, she would peek out at the others, seeing if they were about ready to attack, to begin carving her up like some type of dish. She would freak out more, uncurling and making a break for it, off into the forest more as the wolves all seemed to be focused elsewhere, she all that would be seen of her, or heard in this case was a yellowish blue cutting through the forest and screaming, almost to tears. How.. just how had she gotten to be such a big baby, and still managed to set herself out into the world. If those thoughts had plagued her mind even a little, she may have slowed down before a large leaf fell in her face, and brought her strait into a tree with a crash, knocking herself unconscious and putting her to the ground with a light thump, all fours almost pointing up paws twitching some, her upper half stretched out, one arm across her face the other out to her side. Groaning as she shook her head just a little before darkness took her sight.

Laying their dreaming for the moments that passed, she dreamt of home, of friends, of lost siblings which brought a tear to her eyes before she would start to come out of her little bout of forgetfulness, a sore on her forehead from slamming into a tree, as well as a slightly bruised paw from tripping earlier. She would lean up… which would normally be down as she was on her back at the moment She rubbed at her sore paw lightly * oww…. That hurts… * she rolled to her side, still rubbing the paw and looking around again. * what should I do… I’ve only been gone a few days and I’m already gonna be food for some other animals.. * half laying there she would finally take notice of her very sore forehead. * ah.. that stings… * and so she lay their, by the tree that had jumped in her way and knocked her out. A small chill crawling up her spine as the night air was growing far cooler in the forest. She had forgotten about the others their, the injured one, or the Blonde haired creature, she hadn't even taken notice before about the half a deer leg that had been dropped before her, before she freaked out that is. But laying their she realized how hungry she had gotten as her stomach growled. reaching down and rubbing her hands through her soft tummy fur. * ohh... will have to find food.... *

Defeat, thats all Rin could feel at the moment, the sour sensation of knowing she had been bested. Knowing that she could nothing about this only worsened her current predicament. Lobo who had made quick work of catching her before she could fully fall to her back from her kneeling position, he circling her a few times, making a note to run his tail across her body a few times. He would then nuzzle up to her almost affectionately, something which only confused her. Sure, under normal circumstances she may have struck him for such a thing, but even she knew she just didn't have the strength to protest, this only giving her a feeling of utter helplessness as she felt herself scooped up into his arms and carried further back to the wolves. She having been put to rest at the side of a large wolf, obviously female as it began to curl it's body around the fallen Rin, it's tail wrapping around the front of her body as the food from earlier was put near her for easy access.

While most would have taken this sort of kindness with a smile, the ever proud Rin couldn't help but grit her teeth at this showing. If there wasn't anything she hated more, it was receiving help from others, even in this sort of condition. She viewing it as a sign of weakness, a sign that one viewed her as nothing more than a weak little girl which needed help even to cross town. As if they didn't treat her like the respectable swordsman she truly was, or...this could just be her hardheaded nature coming to the surface. At any rate, Rin believed she didn't need any sort of help, and she stuck to that belief even as she had her back lying against the living flesh behind her which her back was propped up against. The warm fur of the wolf doing just that, keeping her warm, its body soft to the touch. One could almost mistake her for it's cub with the sheer size difference between the two, after all, this wolf was certainly treating her like she was one of her young one's.

Rin almost couldn't help but turn her attention to the head of the beast, this wolf who had previously been lying down after it's meal it made of the bandits. It's head lying flat across the ground, curled inward, however upon Rin's sudden shift in position, it cracked an eye open to see the young woman looking at it. For a moment as her attention remained on the wolf, she couldn't help but think back to that man, Lobo and what he had said. Nevermind the potential pervert which had opened her top, if even to heal her. She couldn't help but replay his words from earlier as he addressed her would be attack on Ira whom she had mistaken for the swordsmen from earlier. The Blonde man whom had injured both her body and name, brought the name Ishida great dishonor as he had humiliated her and what she had been taught. Turning her attention back to this man as he continued to address Ira, Rin would once again try to disobey what she had been told.

She may have been told to rest and she may have also known that it was exactly what she needed. To hell with that though, Rin was not about to be told what to do by some strange man whom for some reason went out of his way to help her without her even wanting it in the first place. She would once again try to forcefully push herself back to her feet, no way was she just going to sit here and rest whilst this man went around and did as he please. Rather she would attempt to get to her feet, for as soon as she began to fidget around to get up, she could feel an immediate amount of force pushing back against her from the tail of the Wolf who she had been entrusted too. It wasn't going to allow her to disobey again, although this didn't stop Rin from trying her hardest. Pushing her hands against the tail, moving her body around weakly, she tried all she could but would come up empty handed, lacking the strength. Almost insultingly, the wolf was quick to sit up after a few more moments of this, something which would have no doubt scared others, hell they managed to scare off that Taur, but this young woman somehow had the courage to look back at it with a straight face.

"What? You want to fight or something?" Rin arrogantly called out to the wolf, showing no fear in her voice, only exhaustion, she quickly wearing her body down once again. Her breathing picking up yet again, although this fact didn't seem to matter so much as the unexpected would happen. Whilst most would have predicted Rin would have gotten her face bitten off for such a brash action on her part. She instead would actually get a huge and wet tongue brushed across her face and cheek from the Wolf leaning in to do so. It licking her with enough force it actually lifted her slightly and shifted the skin of her cheek upward. Once it finally pulled it's tongue away, Rin felt quite disgusted to feel much more than a minor moistness on her face, she just knew the side of her face had to be glistening with saliva from the huge tongue of the wolf.

If there is one thing that it did do however, it was put a stop to Rin's struggles as she was very well quite stunned from what had just happened. It being the farthest thing she had expected from these wolves which had just mere minutes ago brutally ate other human beings, to lick her face like a puppy would, or more appropriately, like she were it's cub. She couldn't help but stay still for the time being, face dripping, her brow twitching, a look of absolute frustration across her face. Oh she was going to kill this thing for that! Although before she would get a chance to do anything, the wolf would suddenly turn it's attention away from her. Rin noticing this would turn her attention with it, noticing the other wolves immediately taking a formation as the scene had went from some lighthearted fun to something serious in a hurry. Her eyes narrowed as she began to look out into the darkness, trying her best to see just what was crashing the party.

Lobo blinked a bit with a grin as the Wolfess licked Rin, giving several soft chuckles that sounded oddly like low tone barks at the same time. Glancing over blinking at Ira’s negative reactions to her surroundings his slowly tilted his head, “Not much for company are you …” he said curiously, before he watched the Cat Taur sprint off stumbling and plopping, he was about to give chase to comfort her when suddenly he cause the scent of something none to nice … frowning slowly his gaze followed the wolves, his eyes narrowed slowly. After a moment he grasped the nearby deer leg and hurled it flying through the tree’s at tremendous speeds in the same direction the cat Taur left, after all he had heard her stomach growling from here and didn’t want her to starve. He glanced back at Ira as she started to say she changed her mind, and even ask why he would do such for her, this confused his innocent (in some ways) mind, and he tilted his head ears twitching. “… Because it’s the right thing to do of course, why wouldn’t I …?” he said honestly, obviously the idea of being cruel just didn’t fit into his mind at all. He grinned a bit at her and turned, frowning a bit, “Sorry if I seem rude~ … You’re the first Human I’ve seen in my life that I’ve talked to for more then thirty minutes.” And it was true, after all usually the females he had mated with had not been ‘talking’ with much, this was his first experience with actual conversation.

The actual effect of the area changed rapidly, his focus went to the incoming threat … and his hair actually bristled, slowly sliding between Ira and the Road much as the female wolf positioned herself as well as three other wolves did, around Rin and the Road. He frowned softly, before muttering, “The hells a Wyvern doing out here …” kneeling down slowly as he grasped the nearby blades of grass and his claws elongated a bit as he growled low in his throat, the wolves began to back up a bit, the sixteen that weren't protecting Rin melting into the forest, their soft feet padding rapidly from all directions, getting into position for a group surprise attack. But for what was unknown … and then the sound crashed through the air, the scream of a Wyvern, a sound like that of the dieing scream of a cow blasted through the forest, the heavy thumps of the beasts legs meeting earth, the Wyvern slowly became visible. he wyvern is a creature of legend, and a cousin to the dragon. Wyverns are winged, serpent-like creatures. Unlike dragons, wyverns have only two legs, a barbed tail, and cannot breathe fire. Wyverns are smaller than dragons, but this one was still far larger then any other that they had all seen, a giant amount the cousins of the dragons its large wings beat twice, the long barbed tail flicking about slowly as acidic poison dripped from its maw. The huge yellow and orange lizard held a thick mane of dark brown, bright yellow and murderous eyed glaring down at Ira, Rin, the Wolves that were visible and Lobo.

Lobo, and the wolves all let out growls of threat as their fur and hair stood up in bristles, even Lobo was on all fours teeth glinting and eyes flashing with vertical pupils. He gave a slow growl at the massive two story tall and likely over a ton of meat beast, but none of them faltered, a pack of wolves could take down anything, and a pack of twenty giant dread wolves could do even more then that. They made this point, as suddenly two huge wolves dashed out, sinking their fangs into the beasts ankles, and pinning its feet down as their clawed paws raked at the beasts flesh, lacking the armor of scales that dragons have instead having simple rubber like skin the was cut like butter. It shrieked in pain, aiming to bite the wolves as three more leap forward, sinking their fangs into its throat and clawing at it, wighing it down as Lobo gave a bark for an order. Three more leap forward landing on each wing, biting clawing and rending as it screeched in agony spitting acid in every direction, rage and agony filling its eyes, as well as sudden fer for its life. The wolves growled and dodged the acid easily, the mother wolf snatching Rin up by her shirt much like a wolf mother would her cub, dodging the acid with her in her mouth protectively. However, one burst flew at Ira … and from what it was doing to the ground it would melt stria through any armor or shield she had at the moment.

Lobo was there suddenly, slamming himself against her and knocking her out of the way, possibly causing a small bruise on her shoulder but nothing serious as he barrel rolled alongside her wincing. “Sorry … hit a bit to hard …” he muttered, eyes going to the beast as the remaining five wolves circled, bit, leap and rended at the beast sending ti scattering back, rearing up it suddenly shook the other wolves free with a scream of pain and acidic blood flying in all directions. Slowly, his eyes narrowed on the Wyvern as the Beast focused on him and Ira, the most ‘desirable’ prey as its bloodies form barreled toward then at surprising speeds for such a injured and large creature. He slowly spun and charged forward strait at the monster … and as he ran on all fours he grew, eyes glinting as slowly they turned bright yellow, his face elongating into that of a wolves, before he leap forward … a wolf Fifteen feet tall, and eighteen feet long rippling with muscle, covered in brown and white shaggy fur, the massive wolf slammed into the sheikdom wyvern letting out a shriek of pain as the wolf nearly as large as itself rammed it into the earth, snarling as Lobo slammed his fangs hard into the beasts throat … a sickening snap rang out from the fight as the Wyverns neck snapped, letting out a final squawk, stumbling about slowly before falling down, and finally twitching dead. Lobo slowly shrinking down … spitting the blood out in disgust as he leap down from the hgue body.

He sighed softly, “I hate killing things we can’t eat …” he sighed, shaking his head as the wolves gave a howl of pleasure seeing their Alpha show such strength, before he waved them off. Least Ira and Rin both suddenly knew how exactly Lobo kept them in line … but the question truly was … what … WAS he …?

"I'm not really used to strangers..." Ira murmured, almost absently, and it was very true. Nestled in the Elven Lord's estate, she knew all of those who lived and worker there by name, of course she knew some better than others, but the fact remained that even those she did not know well were by no means strangers. Even within the walls of the Elven city, she was familiar with the people, and they her. A human walking amongst them stood out quite a bit, and due to Lord Avias favoring her the elves paid particular attention to her when she was out and about. Of course, most also believed that she was male, and she was actually quite charming when she was amongst them, the ladies considering her a gentlemen true to the name 'Prince.' But, these were all things that she didn't terribly feel like telling a bunch of strangers, especially when there seemed to be something skulking about looking for who knows what.

Nevertheless, she paused a little as he told her that he was doing it because it was the right thing to do. A hand rose to lightly caress her chin, which she stroked thoughtfully, again reminded by the elves, and their foolish, pure-hearted lord that she admired so. The strange man intrigued her to some degree, but she was also still a little wary of the situation and the strange collection of beings that had seemingly gathered on mere coincidence. She rose her hand to run her fingers quickly through her hair, giving a soft nod to the man's explanation that he hadn't talked much to humans, which she supposed wasn't entirely surprising, since he was surrounded by wolves that seemed to treat him like family.

Her gaze wandered to the dark haired girl for a few moments, then after the cheetah looking creature that had seemingly wandered off, her blue eyes scanning the clearing, noting that the air was once more tense, as her left hand came to rest absently on her sword. "What did I wander into?" She quietly wondered, her keen eyes dancing rapidly, flickering towards the male as he spoke, she arched a brow. Wyvern? What's that? Sounds like a plant... She absently mused, licking her lips softly as her eyes continued to dart about as she tried to imagine what a wyvern was. She was not left to ponder this long, as the creature soon made itself known, the wolves having apparently flushed it out.

"... Can't say I've seen one of those before..." She managed to mutter, noting that it seemed to also be staring angrily at her (and the others), "well, that's the second thing today that had glared me down... The other one wasn't quite so... Big..." She mumbled, her left hand closing slowly around the handle of her sword. She gripped it tightly, beginning to pull the blade out as she could hear the wolves growling at the strange, lizard like beast before them. She didn't get a chance to pull the weapon out, as the thing soon started to spit some sort of acid all over the place, and of course it had to turn it's gaze upon her. She leered at it a moment, and before she was even really aware of what was happening around her, she hit the ground rolling, a little dazed as she was not used to be tackled in such a manner. Her shoulder hurt a little, either from the initial impact or from hitting the ground, but she ignored it easily, turning her gaze to the wolfman, whom apologized to her.

"S'okay," she managed to mumble, blinking her blue eyes slowly as she soon allowed her attention to drift back to the angry lizard-thing. The teenaged girl sat herself up, resting her hands on her knees and watching as the wolves worked together to pin and injure the Wyvern little by little, which of course angered it and made it cry out, but it was hard to feel sympathy for something that just tried to melt her.

Ira might have tried to get to her feet, as the creature seemed to be making a bolt for bother herself and the wolfman, but the strange man was running on all fours again, and this time, instead of growling and the like, he started to change. The weird man got even weirder. His body began to grow and elongate, becoming covered entirely in fur as he soon towered over her and the others even more than he had been before. The girl could only blink slowly, stupidly, as she tried to process the situation, and only one thing came into her mind. The elves were a people whom enjoyed their lore, legend, and long tales, their stretched truths and stories that had been invented long ago to keep children from venturing outside at night. Perhaps it was a little childish for her to even consider it, but she managed only to utter a single word at the beast defeated the wyvern and promptly returned to normal as though nothing had happened. She remained seated on the ground as she watched him, the leader of the wolves, whom howled in response to his victory, and could come to only one logical conclusion...

"Werewolf?"

She would scream out, when out of nowhere a UFO of sorts flew out and attacked her from the tree’s, shaped like… shaped like… the leg of a deer, She was already up and running around the tree screaming, oblivious to the sound of some fight or what have you coming from where she had just been, the leg had landed on her back and wasn’t about to fall off as she continued, around and around the tree screaming. * HELP! HELP!! IT”S ATTACKING ME!!! HELP! !!! I DON”T WANNA DIEEEEEE!!!!! * crying as she ran around so completely… helpless, although, she wasn’t really helpless per-say, but she was in new surroundings, and new creatures. Roughly 5 strait minutes of running around the tree and she wore herself out, by then laying on the ground panting heavily and staring at the leg of a deer.. that was now sitting in front of her on the ground while she tried to catch her breath. Brushing a bit of hair out of her eyes, she reached her left paw forwards and pulled the leg a bit closer, she knew she was hungry, far more hungry now then earlier as her tummy growled.

* raw meat.. it’s been a long time since I ate raw… * She picked it up, sniffing it some, their was a scent of wolf on it as she sighed and brought it to her lips and took a bite, little fangs tearing through what flesh was left as she began to eat. Tearing piece after piece off of it, not minding the blood that coated her lips, it tasted good, she had almost forgotten what raw meat tasted like. Deer were harder to come by near her home, and even then they cooked most things, just varying how much they cooked their food. It took her more then a couple of minutes to literally clean the bone entirely, not a piece of flesh or meat left on it. * mmm.. that.. tasted good, I feel better at least… * her stomach had indeed calmed down as she rolled half on her side and rubbed her tummy, hands stroking through the soft white fur. * I’m still a little hungry * mumbling a bit as she looked around, then back in the direction the sounds had calmed down.

Even there in the dark she moved finally, getting up and limping just a little from her sore paw, mostly noticing it more now that she wasn’t spazzing out. She limped back and towards where they all had been, she needed to at least thing the strange animal, man, critter thing for the leg of deer. Running her hands through her little more then shoulder length hair, she padded back, crunching twigs and such as she moved finally making her way back into the clearing, she eyed the wolves around her as she blinked, seeing the wyvern, dead laying their she reached out and poked it a little, feeling it’s scales some before moving past and stopping just in front of Lobo.. * thank you .. for the food.. * she still had just a little blood on her lower lip. But she didn’t take notice still as it would only make her lips look a bit redder then normal. Backing up a little, she would step on one of the wolves tails, enough to cause it some discomfort and herself to jump back, she eventually stepped back and half fell over the Wyvern’s tail end.

Her attention was on the downed beasty, and being she was still at least half way hungry, she would turn a bit, reaching into a pouch and pulling out a hunting knife she made her way along the wyvern, looking at the others before working her sharp blade into the flesh of the creature, she would cut through it, spilling blood somewhat as she would literally go about taking large strips of the flesh off the beast, she wasn’t sure if it was safe to eat the meat of it without cooking so she looked at the other.. * Is.. any of this edible…. I’m gonna try and tan and sell the flesh.. might make a tough leather, but I’m still a little hungry… * she waited a few moments before cutting off some chunks of the meat, more from the tail, as she went along, arms bloodied as well as hair, and the fur that was exposed on her lower body, she would definitely need to change clothes and bath after this. Her hunting knife showing it’s edge was well sharpened by how cleanly she was able to cut the thicker flesh away from the meat and fats underneath. She dared try a piece of the fresh meat, cutting a chunk or two off and popping it in her mouth, chewing and swallowing, it was tough that is for sure. But she finished and stood their, looking as though she slaughtered more then she could in some type of war at this point. * Well.. it’s definitely chewy * all that was left now was muscle, bone and organs of the beast, still hemd mostly together despite her workings on it. She was probably the oddest creature of all, one minute crying and running for her life, but another minute cutting such a dangerous beast into edible and usable parts.

Just what could it have been that had gathered the attention of these wolves? Before Rin would have much time to dwell on the matter the forest immediately rang out with a cry which under normal circumstances would have left Rin blade at hand and ready to fight. Although given the situation, she couldn't even get to her sword under the careful guidance of mama wolf whom was treating this young woman as if she were one of her own pups. This being something which only seemed to piss off the ever so serious samurai who didn't want to just sit around and watch, she too wanted to go to battle with whatever it was that was coming their way, she didn't care that her body wouldn't allow it, she wanted to fight. Thankfully her stubbornness was kept in check by the watchful eye of her, for the moment mother. Although even the wolf whom was watching over her couldn't completely be at ease as she watched out into the darkness, awaiting and then finally seeing it, the creature, the Wyvern.

It was a new one to Rin who was unfamiliar with much of the world and the secrets it held, she far more interested in trading steel with others than enjoying some of the other wonders she could have been provided by simply looking around herself. She had at least heard of the beast but has been fortunate enough to lack the run ins with them. It would be much of the same here and now which bettered her odds of survival as she lacked the strength to do battle with it, fortunately there were a ton of wolves who were more than eager to pounce on it and thats exactly what they had done as they all surrounded it, jumping upon it and doing all they could to bring it down. It like may creatures when backed into a wall, facing death however would go into a all or nothing mode as it began to spit acid everywhere, and everywhere did include Rin's current spot. Luckily for Rin, although she would not meet this with the best of attitudes, was quite lucky to be picked up by the wolf whom had been looking over her, she being lifted by her top which was in the wolf's mouth as it quickly took a leap away from the spot which would soon be covered in acid.

Rin whom had been struggling and shouting, "Let me down you fleabag!" would quickly stop her thrashing for a moment to look back at the spot which would have been her grave, had it not been for the quick reflexes of this animal. Rin had an astonished and nearly blank expression on her face as she continued to look before mama landed with so much grace that Rin nearly didn't feel a thing. The young woman during this however, thanks for the position she had been picked up in found herself looking away from the battlefield, facing in the opposite direction that she was, only causing the young woman's brows to twitch slightly. "You damn mongrel! How am I supposed to see what's going on like this?!" She let out, clearly frustrated and uneasy with having her back to the action, even under the protection of the large beast. It wouldn't be until she heard the final death cry of the beast before Rin would finally be allowed to do anything other than hopelessly hanging their from the mouth of her current mother.

The wolf would actually allow Rin's feet to touch the ground and allow her to stand once more before gently releasing it's jaw's and in turn allowing the young woman to stand on her own two feet, held up only by herself, free of restraint. Immediately she turned on her heels to look back at the group, taking note that the Taur from earlier had returned and was making short work of the carcass to the beast which she of course missed out on. Still her eyes locked onto Lobo who was standing amidst everyone, all eyes locked on him as if she had missed something huge. Rin paid it little mind as she slowly made her way across the field, taking a few steps before stopping to look back at the Wolf which had been watching over her, noting that it had taken only a single step to her few, but it wasn't completely objecting to her moving around, for the moment at least. Gingerly she made her way, passing by the strange Taur, she only giving a passing glance with those nearly lifeless eyes of hers, a look which was not at all stranger friendly. A look which someone may have mistaken for a "go to hell" look, or complete disgust, but it was just the way Rin was.

The serious young woman who rarely smiles, who rarely looks to enjoy herself unless she is of course in the heat of battle. It wasn't long before she was standing before Lobo who may or may not have taken notice of her immediately. It wouldn't matter to Rin as her first and immediate thought was to simply thank him. Whilst she would love to hit him for opening her top, she still had to admit that he did in fact save her life. Whether she wanted to live or not upon her loss, it simply was out of her hands at the moment as this man had spared her and she would pay the proper respects. Hands at her sides, Rin would slowly and gingerly bow her head before him. "Arigato" She spoke, thanking him in her own words. It wasn't often that Rin would have done this, for she doesn't normally accept help, but as it would turn out, it was simply out of her hands and she had little say in the matter.

Still she continued to show her respects, showing far more manners than what this Wolf Man thing was possibly used too. Still she would hold her head low, still looking to the ground as she spoke even further. "I'm going to return home ..." Rin softly said and immediately upon finishing her sentence, she would look up into Lobo's eyes for just a moment. Although she wasn't sure why exactly, it wasn't as if she was looking for permission to take her leave or anything. That being said, it didn't take her long to turn away and begin to walk away, her steps a bit shaky as she did so. Just as quick as she had turned to leave, Rin felt a recently all too familiar sensation, as she felt her body being lifted from the ground. The culprit? Well none other than good ol' mama wolf, not quite ready to allow her young one to travel out into the world by themselves. This of course left Rin to once again thrash about, practically throwing a fit in midair as she kicked her legs almost as if she were trying to run away. "Whats the big idea?!" Immediately annoyed again, Rin was showing her frustration as she was brought back and held in midair in front of Lobo. Aggravated, Rin crossed her arms and turned her attention away from Lobo, only for her eyes to lock onto Ira once more. Eye's narrowing slightly, Rin would once again begin to thrash, this time wanting to get her hands onto the blonde woman, this would only happen for a moment however before mama gave Rin a gentle shake before turning her attention back to Lobo.

He blinked slowly, for some unusual reason he was being stared at, and his ear twisted a bit as he heard that word. "... Werewolf? those wannabi Animalic mutts??" he growled and flailed a bit, his pride insulted as an Animalic! He quickly jutted a thumb at himself! "Im a druid ...! A Animalic of the wolf Tribes!" he said with a grin proudly, slowly rolling his shoulder's as he dropped back down to all fours and meandered toward Ira, sitting down in front of her and tilting his head a bit curiously as he whipped the blood from his mouth with a hiss of distaste. Once he was more civilized looking he then tilted his head, "Now then ... shall we? I'll get you fed and rested and then I'll guide you to the Two-legs town." he nodded a bit and then blinked, as he glanced back watching as the Taur girl returned and began to skin and cut the meat, blinking as she thanked him for the food earlier and he nodded a bit. "Of course~" he said simply with a smile and then eyed her bloody fur, "Hrm ... you can come too, cook the meat and get yourself a bath. You can eat wyvern but you shouldn't eat it raw, even a wolf's stomach finds it hard to digest." He nodded a bit and turned, and blinked as another thank you was said, but this one caught him off guard.

he blinked as Rin appeared in front of him, bowing her head and saying her thank you's in a language he only understood by her body language. He smiled a bit slowly, and nodded a bit. "Your very welcome miss ..." he then watched as she tried to wander off, shaking his head and chuckling as the she-wolf Moma snatched her back up and tilted her toward him. Another wordless conversation was held before she was dropped and Lobo caught her gently, slowly placing her on his back as he got onto all fours. "Hold on tight ..." He said simply, "I know she looks like him but you have to remember that isn't him, kay?" he said kindly, before the she wolf snatched up Ira, tossing her into the air, before she landed likely with a shock on the back of the giant wolf, the smaller dread wolf being picked up with just enough room to keep his dignity by the neck like a puppy or an injured companion by another large wolf, before Rin had a chance to argue, she'd be forced to hold on for dear life as a strong tail wrapped around her waist firmly pinning her to lobo's back. In the same motion the taur was -very- gently picked up, the wolfs huge mouth gently clamping around her cheetah-lower half much like a mother cat does to her cubs.

The wolf lifted the taur and her newly acquired 'leather' and meat, and made sure not to hurt her at all, giving a soft assuring whine as Lobo gave her a smile as well. He then let out a howl, not one of kill and hunt, this one more like a beautiful song, one of returning home victorious ... he grinned and suddenly like a group of seeker missiles covered in fur the wolf pack shot across the earth and forest, smoothly and easily Lobo kept up with the massive wolves, running on all fours just as they did, barefoot and barehanded he dashed across roots, leaping over frightened animals and dear, even grabbing as stag by the antlers at one point and vaulting over it, the animals never even twitched in fear once they realized who it was. It seemed that even the prey trusted Lobo and his pack, they were protectors, they only ate what had to be eaten and it was a curious balance. As they ran, the silver moonlight shone through the forest canopy ... fireflies danced beautifully across the forest, the songs of crickets and it was as if a unheard song rang out, not in words per say ... and yet at the same time it was, the sounds of the animals, the insects, the wind and the tree's wrung through them ... perhaps it was Lobo, he gave off a magic no other person or animal ever could, or maybe they just never bothered to pay attention before.

It was as if this song was rolling through their very minds and souls ...

When the sleepy planet comes alive
And I wake up in the warm sunlight
There's a simple harmony to life -
a magic thing
Then I walk among the flowers and trees
and I feel the earth beneath my feet
and I remember that air we breathe
Is a magic thing

There's a clearing in the jungle floor
Where the funky music plays till dawn
Just to be there with the friends I love
Is a magic thing
Then I look up at the sea of stars
And I know one day we're leaving ours
But I hope we leave it tidy 'cause you know -
Life is a magic thing ...

As this silent song filled their hearts and minds for what seemed like hours, they would realize that Lobo finally came to a stop, gently letting Rin down and scratching at his ear with his right back foot still on all fours he blinked a bit and yawned. "We're here~" he said simply, the wolves slowly flowing along the ground, gently letting the Taur and Ira, as well as her 'pet' dread wolf down they began to prance, circle, play and howl very much as if there was no strangers in their home at all. Lobo grinned and looked back, eying Rin. ''Don't bother trying to walk and run ... look at it this way, stay here with me for a bit and get better, then you can earn back your pride by helping us out a bit so you don't owe us anything." He grinned some, then the mother wolf nudged him gently, he smiled and caressed her face gently, before there was a thunk as the wolves started to grow and drag in tree's, he chuckled, "Yah'll just sit wherever ..." he motioned to the huge clearing, with several massive caves against the side of the mountain they were at the base of. He walked toward the logs, his claws glinting as he went at it, the claws as good as steel as he sliced through the wood, trimming branches, hacking down chunks of timber, until her had a neat woodpile ready, and he fiddled in his belt ... pulling out a small beetle he whispered softly to it, and with the sound of a fire cracked boiling hot flames and gas hit the wood from the back-end of the beetle.

Flames burst forward, the fire started and he gave the beetle a chunk of meat and tucked it away once again as he smiled and started placing the Taurs wyvern meat alongside the venison and rabbit meat on rocks beside the fire, as the wolves feasted on raw deer around the camp, surprisingly there wasn't much smell of blood, instead it smelled of flowers and the forest around them. He hopped up eying them, "Feel free to move around the camp ... I'm going to go get herbs and fruit ... don't get out of the circle, even we cant take on everything in the forest that likes the dark much more then us." he said with a bashful grin, as he leapt upward into the tree's and disappeared in a flash of brown as he ran along the tree branches on all fours.

"You're looking kind of mutt-like yourself," Ira slowly pointed out, watching as the man childishly flailed and protested her ignorance. She gave her shoulders a bit of a shrug, seeming a little disappointed all of a sudden, "it was just a guess, don't get your tail in a bunch," the blonde listened in silence as he talked about being a druid of the wolf tribe, which really meant nothing to her. Nor did she really have any idea what an Animalic was, she had no recollection of ever encountering one in Hayashi or the human city that she was heading towards. Using dogboy as an example of one of these 'animalics', she supposed they were simply humans that could turn into wolves. In spite of the fact that she was a blonde haired warrior woman that could take a beating, she was fairly competent at putting two and two together, and in general she was quick to considering past experiences and teachings to aid her in her assumptions. She mused about this for a few moments, as dogboy approached her once more, still on all fours.

He sat before her like a dog, which was fitting really, though he did have the decency to wipe the blood off of his face and clean himself up a bit. She listened to his suggestion, slowly nodding her head as she did so. There hardly seemed to be any point in arguing with this man. She was lost, stranded in the middle of a forest that insisted on trying to kill her, heading in the wrong direction and who knows how long it would take her to reach civilization by her own guidance. She sighed a bit at the thought, brows furrowed as she crossed her arms over her chest and closed her eyes for a moment, "you know, if my compass hadn't been eaten by these vicious little tree swingers then I'd have made it on my own," she assured, more so to herself than to anyone else, from where she was still seated on the ground, "little bastard looked so cute and pathetic, but when I got close to it... It smiled at me with these razor sharp teeth and this deranged look in it's eyes... And suddenly there was a swarm of them..." She bitterly recalled, for this had been when she had lost the better part of her belongings and supplies, as she quite obviously decided that fleeing was the best option in the face of cuddly little cold blooded murderers.

Slowly she drifted out of her own mind, her own sulking, her gaze resting upon the strange four legged half cat, half person thing that could speak, and was apparently going to be going along with them. The blonde scratched a little at the side of her face as she wondered how exactly such a creature came to be. Did it involve two different species mating? She made a face of disgust at the thought, and opted to blame magic or the gods for such a strange creature.

The cat taur had thanked the man, and soon enough the injured girl seemed to do the same as well, while still trying to act tough and insisting on doing things her own way like a bratty child, fitting, considering her height, Ira mused, giving a bit of a devious smirk, which was perhaps inappropriately timed, as it was thing moment that Rin seemed to lay eyes on her again, and promptly started to struggle in an attempt to escape the motherly wolf restraining her. Ira could only arch a brow at this, wondering what exactly she had first done to set off the girl's temper. She couldn't really recall anything, but she did have a habit of bluntly speaking her mind, something she had never really grown out of -or cared to, for that matter.

Hm, if she hates me already... Then I might as well say whatever I want to her, the warrior mused, puckering her lips a little in thought, I could do for some amusement, she gave a soft, almost evil, laugh to herself, but it was interrupted suddenly as a wolf more or less tossed her over it's shoulder and onto it's back. She blinked stupidly, trying to process the somersault that she had just done against her will, her icy eyes fixated on the back of the wolf's head as she wondered for a moment if it had actually tried to toss her onto her back, or had merely be trying to give her a throw away from everyone.

She squirmed a bit on the wolf's back, the sudden closeness making the difference in size more notable, she couldn't help but wonder if she had fallen into some sort of fairy tail forest, and perhaps been shrunk in the process. In such stories, there was general a handsome prince, and while her looks may or may not have been handsome, she was in fact Prince. Again, she smirked to herself at the thought, her hands absently gripping onto the wolf's fur, and it was a good thing, too, as the beast soon started running.

"By Jaba'hir's beard..." She uttered, almost laying forwards onto the wolf's back as she held onto it for dear life. The teenager absently noticed how soft the fur was, and as their long trip dragged on. She didn't really have any desire to view their surroundings, she had already seen more than enough of the strange forest for her liking. As such, in spite of the movement and wind ripping at her, she almost felt herself nodding off as she hung onto the wolf's back. It was the closest thing to a bed that she had been curled up on in a long time.

Nevertheless, the bumps and such woke her each time she began to drift off, making her sigh and groan as time dragged on. When they had finally made it to the man's home, she yawned a bit a she was set down, licking her lips a little and stretching lazily. She remained quiet as she watched all of the creatures and beings that were with her, regarding them in silent curiosity, studying them and noting anything that was worth keep track of. Soon a fire had been built, and she loomed closer to it, enjoying the feeling of it's warmth against her body, but she still did not really feel relaxed at all.

Dogboy soon told them to stay inside the circle while he was gone, but she gave no sign of whether or not she was listening or even agreed to this, as she mauled over how exactly things had come to such a strange conclusion. As time wore on, her discomfort increased, and eventually she heaved a sigh of defeat.

She put aside her bag, and began hauling off pieces of armor, first removing the somewhat heavy chest piece and breathing a long sigh of relief. She had been wearing it for so long that it had been dragging her down for the last couple of days, and was glad to finally have a safe haven where she could remove her armor. Underneath it she wore a somewhat heavy looking piece of chain-mail which she pulled off as well, leaving her in somewhat plain clothes, that were town in places. A pair of ratty looking pants, and a plain white shirt. Both were a little tattered, with splotched of blood here and there, but she seemed not to notice as she pulled a pair of black boots from her bag, followed by a red scarf that she wrapped around her neck, and a somewhat long jacket.

"Ahh, that feels better," she mumbled absently, glancing to the sheathed sword and shield that sat beside her, in the event that the dark haired little goblin wanted to try to start a serious fight with her.

Arialightpaw

No sooner had she gotten the Wyvern skinned down and most of the meat off of it, then she was attacked, viciously and without any remorse, she felt the hot breath, saliva and fangs wrap around her middle, a thick heavy tongue pressing against her bloodied fur, teeth press through it some as she felt the points of the white fangs brushing her hidden flesh. But in all the wonder of being captured in such a situation, she would let out a scream, so loud it was actually silent before passing out entirely. Her body going limp in the wolf’s mouth as she couldn’t feel the discomfort of fangs anymore surrounding her. Her mind was lost in it’s own world and thoughts, although being in that dream world wasn’t any better as the wolves and creatures in her mind were far more scary and vicious looking then the actual ones, but the young women Ira, and Rin were their also. Partaking of the feast, the problem being in her mind was that it was her, having been shaved and cleaned up, looking far more awkward in such a situation. She was stuffed, her tummy feeling more then full as well as other things, and she was in serious discomfort, but her paws had been bound, and her arms had been tied behind her back.

So the dream continued, on wards but turning as she was somehow alive, as she watched a blade delve into her ear thigh, cutting it free, flesh and muscle from more flesh and muscle. Tears running down her cheeks as she even slipped out of the dream, the last sight having been her looking into the very large wound in her side. As she woke up though, Ari panicked, by now laying on the ground where she had been set, breathing deeply and quickly looking herself over, especially the leg of hers that had been cut and torn away from her body. Slowly relaxing some as she found herself all in order still, and still covered in blood that had mostly dried, she breathed a heavy sigh of relief but was still in a small bit of paid from her still sore paw, and now he twenty or so small little tooth points that had made their marks to her flesh under her fur. Looking around still, she noticed that she had been moved, relocated, transplanted to another place entirely. * ohh… where am I now.. * standing up a little shakily for a moment, she gathered what bearings she could, taking notice that the flesh had been brought with them, as well as the chunks of flesh she had cut off, now lined out by the fire that had seemingly been started. * oh.. these critters are gonna wear me out.. * fidgeting a little she watched as they all mingled.

Finally working up the nerve to go over to them all again, oblivious to their own conversations, she was at least happy they spoke her kinds Language, it made thing simple to talk to them. * Hello.. ah.. my name is Aria… thank you.. for moving me.. I think? I’m not really sure where.. I’ve been moved but I wasn’t sure where we had been to begin with…. * she figured at least introducing herself, letting them know her name was enough to hopefully make them consider not eating her at least. * a..also.. thank you for not.. Eating me, or.. other….things.. * that thought had just crossed her mind, a shudder running through her head, one almost matching Ira’s seeming discomfort at when she had looked at Aria, even if Ari had not seen such in the first place. Her hands fidgeting still, she lifted a rear paw, kicking up along her stomach slowly, scratching a small itch there before settling the paw back to the ground. * mm… might their be.. a river.. or such nearby.. I really think should get this blood off…. My fur feels to sticky to be comfortable.. * gulping as she looked down, she may have been blushing but who could really tell considering how she looked at the moment. If and when she would get a response about a river, she would take her leave to get cleaned up, in the meantime though her attention went to the skins she had cut off, seeing they had been brought with them all, she would pick them up, needing to clean them off properly and fully she would take them to the river with herself as well. Sitting down, her tail swaying softly back and forth as she looked to Lobo, Rin, and Ira waiting for her response calmly as she could.

This young woman could do nothing but grumble underneath her own breath as she was held there infront of this wolf man. It wasn't long before she was thankfully dropped from the mouth of mama, although she would have much rather hit the ground from this position. She was irked to find herself caught by Lobo who did seem to take an extra precaution in making sure her landing was gentle enough as to not rock the injured young woman, although it didn't do much for her proud mindset to be treated as such, with such care. She soon found herself being maneuvered however to Lobo's back where she would be seated, her legs straddling his back as he got down upon all fours with only a simple two words, hold on. He would of course then once more try to defend the blonde from her by saying that Rin was mistaken in her assumption in regard to Ira and that swordsmen, and whilst he was right, it didn't seem to do much for her as she still couldn't stand the sight of her.

It wasn't long before they were off however on possibly the greatest ride of their lives, had Rin not been in her current state she actually may have enjoyed the experience as it was quite a rush. Be that as it may though, she found herself rooted to Lobo's back via his tail around her waist, keeping her in place so as the weakened young lady wouldn't fly off as he was rushing at full speeds, jumping off this, leaping over that, speeding past this animal, with her loss of blood, it only made Rin sick at her stomach and in all honesty they couldn't have arrived soon enough to that destination that Lobo sought, his home. Fortunately it didn't take nearly as long as it seemed for them to arrive, although to Rin it seemed like a century. They arrived and she was gently let down by Lobo, allowing her to take in a moment of those wolfs taking part in a bit of fun before addressing her once more. Suggesting for he to sit still, recover and then possibly she could help out and recover her pride a bit. "Whatever...." Was all that Rin would let out in response as she turned her attention away from him yet again. She had done all she felt necessary, she had thanked him for the help she needed and would have never asked for.

It was soon enough that a fire was started and the area infact did begin to resemble that of a camp, a camp which had just claimed three lost souls who more than likely had no idea just where they were at. So even if Rin did want to just wander off, she wouldn't know which direction to go or just what dangers he spoke of which awaited her at this time. Still on shaky feet, Rin took in her surroundings, the clearing which was their campsite if you will, her eyes locking onto the fire and all those whom who gather around it, and ....her. Rin's eyes narrowed once more as she looked upon Ira, the blonde woman who resembled the blonde swordsmen so much. She could begin to feel her blood boil once again as she just couldn't take her eyes from her. Still she had to recall Lobo's words as he made it clear that she wasn't responsible for what happened, but that did little to quell her anger. She would force herself too look away however as she made her way in the opposite direction of everyone else, she wasn't gathering around the fire but instead moving away from it.

No she wasn't going to try and bail like she may have wanted too, she wisely knew that she wouldn't make it far in her condition. Instead she found a lone tree amongst the clearing quite a few feet away from the fire and everyone else and took a seat underneath it. She using it to lean again as she crossed her legs, pulling them in close and taking her sword and sheath, placing it in the gap made between her legs as she crossed her arms out infront of it, propping it against her body as she allowed her eyes to slowly drift closed. Much to her preference, Rin didn't like gathering, she didn't like people all that much, she preferred to be alone. After all for the majority of her life, she only knew her Father, she had only spent her time with one other person, one of whom trained her into the warrior she is today and that man was gone now. She wasn't about to open herself up to a bunch of strangers, so she sat there quietly, eyes closed, listening to the forest around them.
