The main street of Maliseet is a bustling crossroad of corporate big-wigs, producers, and culturists. Hip youngsters looking for the new, cool club to hit up, aspiring actors looking for their chance, tourists coming to see the sights of the metropolis of the city, all of them and more made up the sea of people traveling down the cultural hub of Eclipse. One of the off-streets led to a number of shops: restaurants, thrift stores, lots of various odds and ends to find along with the sights and smells of the city. Going down a few doors would find you under a large sign, yellow lights illuminating the words "One Stop Fix Shop" It looked small, but if you asked around, this was the place to go if you needed something repaired.

A bell was attached to the door to inform of anyone coming inside. The interior was a modest amount of space, cluttered with gears, hardware, metal, electronics pieces, all sorts of scrap and junk that could be used to fix something up. A counter rested towards the back, with a young man standing behind it. A door led to the back, more of the shop lay behind. The man laughed, holding a phone up to his head. He had short brown hair along his head, brown eyes staring out as he listened to the call. He wore a plain shirt and jeans under his smithing apron, he wore it over clothes to keep stuff from getting on them, like oil or other messy substances. "Of course, I'll be there. Good luck with the festival, mom," he said, hanging up. Cameron's attention went back to a circuit board that was on the counter, his hand grabbing a soldering iron and going to work.

With the city bustling below, David rushed across the rooftops of Maliseet with a mysterious satchel slung over his shoulder. Being in a Maliseet around the time of he festival, he had opted to wear his jacket over his vest. As he neared the main street, he made a detour towards a back alley and descended to the ground below. He entered the crowded street and made his way to the repair shop he had been recommended.

"One Stop Fix Shop?" he muttered to himself. "Well, let's hope its quick; I have a schedule to keep." Walking into the shop, he greeted the shopkeeper with a smile. "How are you doing, sir? I was told this was a good place to get items repaired."

Cameron whistled a tune as he soldered the board, just random notes to make background noise over the light hissing the hot metal made while making new connections for the electronics. He loved to work on things like this, and was lucky enough to make a living with it. Word of mouth could go a long way in getting customers, proved by the bell ringing just now.

He finished a connection and set the iron aside, hot end up of course. With a smile he looked up to the person walking in. "Excellent, how about yourself? You've come to the right place, I'm Cameron, owner and fixer. How can I help you?"

"Nice to meet you, Cameron. The name's David, and I'm doing pretty good, but I'd be feeling even better if you could have this fixed within the next couple hours," he responded as he reached into his satchel. An observant eye might have caught a glimpse of something that resembled a map of sorts, but David quickly closed the bag as he retrieved his steel wrist guard from inside. The wrist guard had some of its paint scratched off, and the wristbow it concealed had a broken firing mechanism. "Think you could have it ready by then?" he politely asked.

Cameron nodded as he spoke, taking in the explanation. "Couple of hours, huh? Well, let's see what we have here," he said, watching David bring out the wrist guard. His analytic eyes caught something else in the bag, but he paid no mind. It wasn't his business. His attention came completely to the guard as David handed it to him, quickly turning it around and looking it over. Some damage to the paint, but the real issue was the firing mechanism. A few "Mhm's" and "Ah's" escaped him as he examined the device. Finally he looked back up to David with a smile. "Should be no issue, shouldn't take that long at all," he said, setting it down.

He came out from behind the counter, cane making a thud as he walked and used it to support him. His left leg clearly the bad one, he made his way over to a table with some small parts so he could pick out what he needed. "This some routine maintenance, or something happen to it?" he asked, starting to make some small talk while he went to work for him.

David paused, thinking carefully of how to respond. "Well the paint is just maintenance. The firing mechanism is from a--" he stumbled over his words a bit as he searched for an excuse. "--a, uh, fall. I'm a practicing traceur," he replied with hardly a convincing tone. Looking to change the subject, he immediately continued speaking. "Has the festival brought a lot of business here?"
