Who will Fiona end up with this season?

Yeah it's too bad she probably won't end up with Gus. I like him so far, he seems like a nice guy. But we know JimmySteve will be back, and then they're obviously setting up for something to happen with Fiona and Sean later in the season, so who knows where this is all going :P

I'm just worried that Jimmy is going to come in like a hurricane and ruin everything. We know from the earlier promos that Fiona was meant to see Jimmy in this episode outside the club, and after that she ran home to Gus and told him she was falling for him. Hmm, sketchy, definitely not something she'd have done if she hadn't seen Jimmy. It was a weird thing to cut, but maybe they're just planning a more dramatic reveal later.

Yes to me, that would have explained a bit more. Plus it does not make sense for a dramatic reveal since everyone already knows Jimmy is alive and we saw that scene in the trailer. And just out of curiosity how is Jimmy "ruining" everything? If Fiona choses to sleep with him, that is her choice. Just as it seems like it will be her choice to continue things with Gus or go back to Sean.

Ah, I just meant that his presence overall is going to throw Fiona off course, as we already saw in the promo and how it relates to the impromptu marriage. Also since I think Gus seems really sweet.

Also I'm bored with Sean already even though I didn't mind him in the first episode. Now I was just "ugh, are you still relevant?" when he walked around sulking in the background.

I was surprised they cut that scene out too, especially since it was shown in recent promos which wouldn't usually indicate that the scene was going to be removed.

I don't really know what to think about Gus. He's sweet, sure, and their scenes are cute and he treats Fiona well, but he's not at all involved with Fiona's family and she's already spending nights at his place without even worrying about what they might be getting up to, she's getting married without telling him oh hey by the way I'm the LEGAL GUARDIAN for my five brothers and sisters. I mean this isn't something that Fiona is volunteering to do anymore and can just abandon because her siblings are old enough to take care of themselves (which some of them still aren't) - she took on a legal responsibility that she's been neglecting horribly, and I feel like Gus is just her method of escapism. It could still develop into a proper relationship in time, but right now it's just another example of Fiona's bad decision making. Bad decisions don't just come in the form of dangerous guys.

It could still last but right now I think it's just going to lead to Fiona realizing how badly her siblings needed her guidance. Carl is pushing drugs, Debbie raped someone and doesn't really seem to be learning from what she did, Ian's manic episode is about to get really bad, and Liam is a toddler who just got into Fiona's coke last season. Going to NA meetings and working is one thing, but spending multiple nights in a row at the apartment of some guy you just met and decided hey let's get hitched? Yeah, that's probably not going to end well. I dunno, I knew from spoilers she would get married to him but I never expected all of the Gallagher sibling storylines to be so separate from each other. They're in like, one obligatory scene together per episode and that's it. I feel like that's deliberate and that it's going to reach the boiling point soon but who knows.

And yeah, I am really not feeling Sean at all. I'm not here for relationships that are developed off screen and then suddenly the writers throw in a line like "Guess who's madly in love?" in the first episode he's in. And although I never really felt any chemistry with him and Fiona, I didn't mind him in the beginning, but now since they're just showing him long enough to make him sulk over a girl he rejected, I'm becoming less and less of a fan.

When it comes to Gus I do not think he realizes just how important Fiona's family is. I think he is your average late 20's, early 30's man who is young and impulsive (remember he agreed to marry Fiona), and views them as young lovers. He does know Fiona's on probation so he knows she has been in trouble, but I am sure he does not know what for. I think he just thinks that Fiona is the older sister of a bunch of kids and somewhere there is a father and mother helping her. I am curious what will happen when he meets Frank. But to get back to my point, if I were him I would be kind of pissed that Fiona left out that monumental detail before she agreed to marry him. But that being said I do think that he is a good man with no alternate plan, just someone who Fiona left way in the dark.

I think Fiona will go for Gus and give their relationship/marriage another try. Nevertheless, I want Jimmy to stay as well....but I don't know how they could continue his storyline without Fiona in it.
