Grant had an eyebrow raised to the man who was about the same age as he was. Once he had called out to him he just turned around to see what he wanted. He must have been another challenger in this game, but in Grant's eyes he had already won, he just needed to put this object in the circle and it would be cake. Everyone seemed to be still fighting over the fake items, but Grant had already come across the real one. This one somehow managed the find Grant and possibly figure out that this was actually the real one. "Hmm?" Grant was calm and collected unphased by the person that was presented in front of him. |

The young Uchiha approached Grant wearing his battle ready uniform. This uniform was much more refined for combat as compared to Jei's normal gi. (I'll post the description from the reall ss site here) The crossed out konohagakure headband's ends flowed in the wind with his hair every so gracefully, but a heavy and dark presence could be sensed from him. Grant would notice that this man's eyes were very odd and held malice. Lifting his right arm and pointing at Grant, Jei introduced himself and explained his intent. "Sorry to bother you, but you seem to have something that I need. But more important than that is the introduction of someone so prestigious as myself. I am known as JeiMuzu Uchiha the Southern Phoenix, the Mighty third head of the world renown Hakumei. None can stand before me. Now would you kindly hand over the real item that you posses, the other losers couldn't figure it out, but I assume you are somewhat better than them." A dark grin appeared on his smug face. Jei was in a cocky mood from easily defeating another combatant in mere seconds. |

Grant was simply unimpressed by his flashy introduction. "So?" Grant said questioning who this man was before him, as if nothing he just said meant anything at all to Grant. Strength was not something that could be said from one man to another. "I'm kinda in a hurry to win, so if there is nothing else you need me for I'll be moving along." There was no arrogance in Grants voice what so ever he was begin serious, and even the Sharingan would be able to tell this about him. Such confidence was odd however, he had a rather small chakra pool, and something a regular ninja would laugh at as far as abilities go, |

Jei's eyebrow raised and twitched a few times. His anger began to rise. "Many tremble before my name, and yet you can be so rude as to ignore me. Your name? What is it? So I can remember you after I take that item that you found. Hmph" Jei made no intention of drawing his fancy ninjato due to the fact Grant had no visible weapon, he merely cracked his knuckles together. "Well If you have no intention of giving it to me then I'll have to take it, don't worry I won't kill you. Leaving opponents alive allows me to distill fear in them. It is much more enjoyable that way" Jei had above average taijutsu, but aside from being cocky and arrogant beyond belief he was honorable to a point. His stance shifted to A Dragon combatant stance of ninjutsu |

Since Jei had every intention of fighting Grant would return the name. "My name is Grant Ivory." He sparred the lengthy introdcution seeing has how Jei was already getting irritated and the more time Grant spent with him the less time he spent finishing up this silly challenge.Grant let both of his arms fall limp next to him, letting his sleves on his kimono fall by his side lightly dusting the ground. This seemed to be a battle stance of his, or somewhat close to one. |

"I'll take the initiative then" Jei's eyes lit up with joy when Grant seemed to ready himself. The ninja sprinted forwards at Grant, going rather fast, about five feet in front of Grant, the ninja seemed to poof away and reappear behind him with a spinning side kick (Shunpo). The dust itself move upwards with the rapid burst of movement. A direct hit from this kick could break ribs, or at least deal a heavy hit. |

Grant made a quick step forward, without even turning to see Jei, it was almost as if he felt where he was gonna be and made an adjustment accordingly, oddly enough he was able to move with enough speed to dodge the attack as well. For Jei being the fastest ninja aside from Shoon, this might come off as odd, or just be a stroke of luck, regardless Grant dodged the move, but instead of doing a follow-up to his opponents missed attack he merely looked back over his shoulder just as the kick whiffed to look as dodged attack, not even making a sort of hostile action back towards him. He awaited the next assault. |

Jei's eyes slanted and become slightly more serious. It was uncommon for someone to dodge the first shunpo attack from Jei right off the bat, aside from Shoon and Orda, Doggie was the only one who learned the timing but this came after quite a few sparring matches. "Telegraphing too much?" Jei seemed to become a bit more angry with the fact that Grant didn't attack back. He disappeared once more but the time there would be two JeiMuzu. One above his head and one in front. The one above was bringing a vertical axe kick down and the one in front bent down to do a sweeping hook kick. (Shunpo and Bunshin) |

Grant paid no attention to the one coming from above him, it was almost as if that Jei didn't exist at all, the only one that mattered was the on ground going for a sweep. Peculiar the fighting style the Grant was presenting though, Jei needed to know that he should stay away from Grant though, you can't escape once this close. He would merely warn him first. Grant's left hand moved to the upward position as if there was nothing there at all. Blinding speed, probably even for the Sharingan. At the speed he moved his arm he would have be able to do the same motion approximately fourteen more times before Jei's kick would have connected. As the sleeve moved across its path, which was along the same path as Jei's leg, diced the ground like a knife would avocado. Something Jei would have have wanted connecting to his leg, seeing as it moved straight through the ground seamlessly. Grants face was still emotionless, even while on the offense. |

Eyes wide catching every glimpse or lack there of, Jei wasn't about toHaving his hands planted on ,the ground during the sweep, Jei always had at least one way out for any possible counters. The oncoming strike was much much faster than Grant's normal speed seemed to be. Within the middle of Jei's kick he would disappear once more, this time with a sprinkle of dirt where he was. If Grant could feel where Jei was, he would notice him about fourty feet underground and twenty feet in front of him. Where Jei was, there was a decent sized crack in the earth. A heavy energy could be felt emitting from the ground. |
