ABURAME CLAN ! The Aburame clan is a clan from Negakure that is characterized by their use of insects as weapons. The insects live in symbiosis within the body of the shinobi. At birth, members of this clan are offered to a special breed of insects, called destruction bugs, to reside just under their host's skin as a nest. The insects can then leave and enter through various pores, apparently by eating their way through the skin. They feed on chakra or blood as a food source depending upon breed, making them quite deadly in battle. The relationship between the shinobi and the insects is mutually beneficial. The host grants the bugs shelter and allows them to feed off their chakra/blood, their body becoming a living hive, and in return the bugs do the user's bidding, allowing the shinobi to perform ninjutsu-like techniques without the use of hand seals or chakra conversion. Due to this, the Aburame literally can fight as long as they have bugs to fight for them. While originally from Konohagakure, they were one of the many clans that defected in retaliation with how the village was being ran. STRENGTHS

KIKAICHUU The Kikaichuu are a species of small beetle-like insects that are exclusively breed by the Aburame clan and form the basis for all of their clan-related techniques. Contrary to common belief, the insects come in three distinctive forms. Depending on one’s position at birth in the clan, the Aburame will select one of the types to live in symbiosis with. This pact will be a lifelong choice and cannot be changed with another species of Kikaichuu after their nesting.
Mushi-gun [ Insect Swarm ] D~S Rank | - - - | Clan Ninjutsu Mushi-gun is a ninjutsu technique that determines the number of insects an Aburame can contain and control by rank. As the user grows in skill, so does the number of insects they can house and manipulate to their will.
Konchuu no Tsuiseki [ Insect Tracking ] D-Rank | - - - | Clan Ninjutsu Konchuu no Tsuiseki is a ninjutsu technique utilized by the Aburame clan that enables the clan members to track down and locate a target by first placing a female Kikaichuu upon their person. As this female releases pheromones that enables the male Kikaichuu to locate it from a 100 meter radius, the technique acts as an amazing means to pursue a target. Mushibunshin [ Insect Clone ] D-Rank | 0m-15m | Clan Ninjutsu Mushibunshin is a standard Aburame clan technique that enables the clan member to create a clone created out of a total of 250 insects. Unlike a regular bunshin, the clone has substance and can be used to strike physically at the opponent. However, as the clone is merely created out of bugs, a simple strike to its form will disintegrate it back into its original form. Mushikame no Jutsu [ Insect Jar Technique ] C-Rank | 0m-5m | Clan Ninjutsu Very similar to the Hyuuga’s Kaiten technique, Mushikame no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique that creates a swirling sphere of Kikaichuu around the user’s body to protect them against incoming attacks. By swirling around at high speeds, the bugs is capable of destroying most incoming attacks but will be disrupted with a sufficient force (B-Rank or Higher technique). This wall requires at least 1200 insects. Mushi Miyu no Jutsu [ Insect Cocoon Technique ] C-Rank | - - - | Clan Ninjutsu Mushi Miyu is a special technique of the Aburame clan that enables them to increase the speed of their insect’s development. After forming the required hand seals, the user will become encased in a cocoon of chakra. Lasting up to a total of four turns, the technique will increase the number of insects they can both control and house by 1/4 for the remainder of the topic. For example, an Aburame who has a D-Rank Mushi-gun will be able to control 625 insects after one post, 750 after two, 875 after three, and 1000 after four. However, while this technique is very handy for members of the clan, it is very dangerous while using it in the midst of battle as it leaves the user static and vulnerable. Should they move or preform any other technique, this technique will end. Mushiyose [ Insect Gathering ] C-Rank | - - - | Clan Ninjutsu Mushiyose is a specialized ninjutsu of the Aburame clan. While known for being able to control the kikaichuu beetles to complete nearly any task for them, this ninjutsu allows them to stretch to other insects. After forming the required hand seals, the Aburame will place their hands upon a surface. This will release a small web of chakra that draws insects to their location. By infusing their chakra into these bugs, the Aburame will be able to use them as scouts to check enemy strong holds. As they can communicate with insects, this can be an useful tool to gain information. Mushi Jamingu no Jutsu [ Wicked Insect Folk Tools Technique ] B-Rank | 0-20m | Clan Ninjutsu Mushi Jamingu is a specialized technique of the Aburame clan, enabling them to counteract most sensory shinobi. This is done by spreading the Kikaichuu insects across a wide area around the user. Filled with user’s chakra (Chakra Destruction Bugs) or the user’s scent (Vampiric Destruction Bugs), the insects will begin to release the user’s presence that they normally feed on. This will confuse sensor-type ninja’s ability to directly locate them, as the insects irregular distribution and large grouping creates numerous “false images,” making it much more difficult to distinguish the user’s actual location. Its effectiveness depends on the means of sensory-shinobi they come against. I.E. an Inuzuka could easily locate an Aburame using Chakra Destruction Bugs but not so much on one using Vampiric Destruction Bugs. Mushidama no Jutsu [ Insect Sphere Technique ] B-Rank | 0m-20m | Clan Ninjutsu One of the strongest of the Aburame’s attacks, Mushidama is a ninjutsu technique that works by having the Aburame’s insects surround the opponent in a globe, encasing them completely in bugs. Once trapped, the bugs will drain the target’s chakra or consume their blood, leaving them an empty shell. Although the technique prevents much movement, should the target be able to escape, the Kikaichuu will only follow behind them. This technique requires 1500 insects in order to be used.
