In this short guide, i will try to explain the concept behind 'trading'. It's a new system developed specifically for this very roleplay, and is different to what you have experienced so far. Some basic information. We, the ninjas live in either Kumogakure or Konohagakure (unless we have gone rogue). Outside of this, it exist five villages which is worth trading with, they are the other three great nations of Sunagakure, Kirigakure & Iwagakure, along with the two most noteworthy minor villages in Otogakure & Amegakure. These five villages is independant in this roleplay, they live their own life, and thus have no players associated with them. However, it doesn't mean they will not affect the world we live in. Each of these villages have their own leader, controlled entirely by the Illuminati. This means their actions, is independant from Kumogakure & Konohagakure, and they are allowed to take any action that they wish to take. Being on friendly terms with each village, will grant your village various benefits. Such benefits includes secret information, access to secret jutsus, secret kekkei genkais, ability to hire mercenaries or set up trade agreements. However by being friendly with one village, you may lose your friendship with another village, as they do not all see eye-to-eye with one another, so choosing your friends is very important. These are the various levels of 'friendship' you can have with a village. - Hostile (Tier 3) - Bad (Tier 2) - Poor (Tier 1) - Indifferent (Tier 0) - Good (Tier 1) - Friendly (Tier 2) - Allied (Tier 3) The higher your friendship is with a village, the easier and better deals may be strucked with that village. They may also request you to do various tasks for them, in order to gain their trust. By having good trust, you will be allowed to hire mercenaries, or can set up Trade Agreements as stated earlier. A trade agreement is that both your villages will set up a trading route, which will send supplies in exchange for money or vice-verse, something which will benefit both villages. You will have the option to assign guards to this trading route, as the enemy may try to attack it, in order to stop your village from getting the much needed supplies, they may even try to steal the trading route. If the trading route is either completed (after 7 days) or it is interupted (1-6 days), you will gain the profit from the trading route's worth, at the end of the trading route (7 days), which thus varies greatly depending on how well it went, and how valuable the trade agreement was. Buying & Trading bloodlines is possible, and it will grant the village access to new powerful techniques, however the secret scrolls containing this information may very well be stolen by enemies. Information is a keen weapon in this political warfare. Sometimes these villages will come in contact with very lucrative and secret information, due to their own activities in the ninja world, such as the codes for the enemies barriers, allowing for easier infiltration. Such information is very valuable in the right hands, and is thus worth a smaller fortune. In order to gain contact with these villages, a representive may be sent, to initiate negotiations. Even if you are on bad terms with a village, a negotiation may take place, which could either improve or destroy your relationship further. If the situation is really bad, a peace offering upon the negotiation will always be considered helpful in order to get your negotiations into your own favor. Now, let the political warfare and tactical planning begin! |
