::Effects:: Now to explain different effects that can be used in several different jutsus. Bind Effect: Binds a character up, not allowing them to move for a certain amount of posts. Meaning if your bound, for the amount of posts your bound you cannot attack or dodge, or even make seals. Blocking is still possible. Cost is not determined. (can be used in many ways, binding by string, paralysing by electricity, freezing in place and much more). This is a Channeling effect with max of 3 turns, costs 1200 a turn. Blurr: Messing up your sight somehow, making them see something or not see something in various ways. This can be used to hide something, meaning if a character hides themselves in such a jutsu, you cannot attack him/her unless using a jutsu to bypass his/hers. This can also make dodging harder by up to 50%. Cost is not determined. (as above is not restricted to any element or such really) this type jutsus are channeling types, so you channel an amount of chakra each turn to keep them up, or just use them for 1 turn. For 25% harder to dodge = 500 chakra each turn, 50% = 1000 chakra each turn, when just altering one jutsu to have to be dodged for more cost, it's 25% = 750, 50% = 1500. Can be canceled by an damaging jutsu with same cost as your channeling after 1 turn, using it more than once makes it instantly 'defeatable' with damaging jutsu, if it's an scenario changing jutsu (like Hidden mist skill). Area effecting: Jutsus that makes the battlefield, Your battlefield. By molding chakra into making a sea around you to use water jutsus easier. drying up a humid place to make earth jutsus easier to use. molding chakra into the air to make it windy so wind jutsus get better. These are restricted to very high level ninjas. But can increase damage done by jutsus by up to 15% and reduce cost to up to 15%. Cost for these not determined yet. Burn/Bleed/Choking/etc effect: Many jutsus can have the effect of doing certain amount of damage, then do another amount of damage over time. Meaning that if you maybe use a Wind jutsu to slice your opponent, you do 600 damage, but cause the jutsu is used to 'cut deep', your opponent bleeds for lets say 3 additional posts where he 'bleeds out' 300 additional damage (100 dmg a post). Can be used with any element. To use these you use the 'additional damage' x1 onto jutsu cost. Slow effects: Slowing down your opponents speed by up to 25% somehow, this costs 1/4 of opponents Speed Stat from chakra for each 2 turns. Or simply making dodging harder by changing the atmosphere. (dodging cannot become harder than 50% extra chakra). 25% harder to dodge = 750. 50% = 1500. can be defeated just like Blurr effect jutsus. Crippling effects: Making people unable to use lets say an arm. So for up to a certain amount of turns will not be able to use seals for jutsu. (at most a jutsu can cripple you for 3 turns). Costs same as ½ opponents Taijutsu for every 2 turns. Elemental 'defeat': Restricted to very high level ninjas. The same way as area effecting to make your jutsus stronger, a very high level ninja can change the area to make his opponents jutsus less functional. making them cost more chakra by up to 25%. cost not determined yet. Block: At a higher level ninjas can use Blocking type jutsus to block out Physical attacks or jutsus of many kinds. These work more like dodging. But have a slight higher cost, in additional can be used on harder opponents. Using a blocking jutsu costs x1.25 of the chakra used on the jutsu coming at you or physical attack. But instead of of having to have 3/4 speed of opponents Ninjutsu if E.G a Ninjutsu comes at you, you'll need 1/2 Ninjutsu of their Ninjutsu to block their jutsus. Or 1/2 Ninjutsu of their Taijutsu to block their Taijutsu/physical attacks. Multi Target Jutsu: Some Ninjutsus are created for Multi Targetting. These have a added of x0.25 cost to the jutsu. So if a jutsu has 1000 damage and has normally x1 cost = 1000 chakra cost. It would now cost 1250 to use for multi target. But the opponents that are fighting the one with Multi Target jutsu use still x1 of damage to dodge it instead of x1.25 that user uses. Unblockable: When you make your jutsu unblockable, no matter how much taijutsu the opponent has, they cannot block it. But people with the same element as you, or your elements weakness can with same damage jutsu. Otherwise if their jutsu is just slightly weaker it cannot block. To make your jutsu unblockable you add x0.25 to your jutsu cost. And this cannot be done to all jutsus, aither a jutsu is unblockable or it isn’t. Enhancers: Some jutsus will be able to enhance your Physical attacks. These are called enhancers. These jutsus are used with seals as any other, but can be maintained, but once you use a Taijutsu attack, these are dispelled and you have to redo the seals. An enhancer jutsu can only get as strong as 1/4 of your ninjutsu. But that's only if you do a combination. So lets say your Ninjutsu is 1000, you use an enhancer that can add 250 to your punches. But if you only do a single punch, you get 125 damage on it (250/2) but if you do 2 punches it's 125 added to each punch = 250. Cost for these are x1 each time used. Instant Seals: Pretty much what it says, makes the seals of a jutsu instant, so you don't have to start making the seals a turn before. To make a jutsu 'instant seals'.. Cost will be raised by x0.25.. so if a jutsu is x1. Then x1+0.25 = x1.25.. Or even if you have already an Unblockable jutsu that's gonna be instant seals = x1.25 + x0.25. = x1.5. |
