Land of Fire
The Land of Fire is the heart of the Tendō Shogunate, whose Daimyo lord is the Tendō Shogun himself. It is a prosperous country, with ranging woodlands, an abundant population, and a warm climate. The Land of Fire is a rapidly industrializing nation, with steam engines constantly running along the railways that connect the cities serving as regional centres of both commerce and government.

The Land of Rivers is a forested valley with a vast river running from the northern end of the country to the southern coast. Smaller tributaries feed the river from the highlands on each side of the valley.

Land of Woods
A small, forested peninsula to the south of the Land of Fire, the Land of Woods quickly joined with the new Tendō Shogunate to avoid being swallowed up by another one of the superpowers. Nonetheless, some resentment among the shinobi clans of the Land of Woods remains, remembering past betrayals by their rivals from the Land of Fire.
