1. What is deosil and why is it called that? What is its opposite? Deosil is everything to the right, invoking or clock wise Tuathail, or less correctly “Widdershins" is everything to the left, devoking, counter clock wise 2. Where did the celtic peoples come from? The celtic people are believed to have originated in Europe (central or eastern) around 700 B.C 3. What is an invocation and why would you make one? An invocation is a prayer for the presence and aid of Deity -either Universal or personal Deity. An invocation can be addressed to Universal Deity, to the Goddess and/or God, or to a particular Goddess or God -all are ultimately manifestations of the same Universal Power. |
