Since we have to rebuild from scratch anyway, who has ideas/things to change about the forum?

First suggestion by me... the "shout" thing.. can you change the white background to a light grey because it's not very visible

I can try, but I think that's something that comes with the "theme" I have set. Which could be changed at any time, mind you.

Is there any way to make the registration button any bigger? because its in the top left hand corner and tiny and size.
Also the mandatory passwords are too long if you can it would be better at something like 6 character minimum no capital, symbol, and number necessary. This is not something like a Credit Card account lol.
I have one visual suggestion. I think the logo is a little too big and forces people to scroll down too much to see the topics. It's not that big a deal but if you move the flag to the bottom or something I think it would be more convenient.

Alright, here's a list of the fast changes so far.- Giant icon at the top removed. It may be replaced at another time with something more appropriately sized, but with the scrolling info box, I don't really see a need.
- I can't change the size of the reply button, but realize that when people visit for the first time, they are now shown this menu.
Registration Buttons There is now a link to the registration page in the scrolling info box, and the "Join Our Community" option has been changed to "Register Here" and made larger as well. - Passwords do not have to be long (i.e., it isn't mandatory). The board just tells you what a good password should include. Mine only hits two of the four on there anyway. If you want your password to be "boobs" or something as equally appropriate, that is up to you
Keep the suggestions coming everybody! I can't change it if you don't say anything about it!

Good work Skydip! I thought the password thing was mandatory so mine is super long, haha. But I think you just gave me my new password :).

Sorry, this might have been brought up already but I'm just checkin', is there a more convenient way to incorporate a chat system into our forum? I know our old forum had the chat window at the top of the screen, which was very nice. Is something like that just not possible on zetaboards or is it something we just haven't looked into yet?

Our only option is the shout box and an off-site chat room, unfortunately.

It also appears that certain masks (Diplomats, High Council, etc.) aren't working correctly or are not allowing users to access areas they should be able to use. Please report any problems you may have here and I will try to fix them as soon as I can. If you think a mask needs to be modified or the applicable permissions changed in some way, feel free to leave suggestions.

Just thought of this, but I think the forum's need a designated 'Introduction'/'Introduce Yourself' Thread/Topic. Might help newer members get to know everybody.

Possibly add something about introducing yourself in the Mistral of the Damned subtitle?

Why are all the posts ending in questions?
@Red. I agree?
