Her attitude towards Carol is exactly how my sister was when our mum was ill. Constant phone calls, whining about her working, generally being a cow and not listening to her!

Its getting silly now that we don't see Martin. The scene in Beale's was toe curlingly cringy.

I agree, it's gone too far now- they have managed to turn his character into a horrible uncaring piece of work without ever having him on screen.

Surely they can't keep this up much longer? They need to bring him in and finish things properly or send Sonia back to him.

Regardless of whatever state their marriage is in, Martin should have been at Lucy's funeral to support his cousin.

If Alexandrou doesn't want to come back then the character should be recast, after all he wasn't the original Martin!

Agree with this completely. It's all well and good the writers telling us that Maggie Flattery sent Ian some flowers but when they can't even do the basics of telling us why Martin wasn't at his cousins funeral it isn't worth it.
