Lucy Beale will be killed of this spring leading us to wonder how her death occurred. What a shame they're killing of a legacy character?  They should have killed Abi or Lauren.

I feel so very sorry for Denise. She must feel trapped in the relationship now even though neither her or Ian are attracted to each other. I think Gina and Cindy will be back next week. Ians scenes with Sharon and Phil were very touching. |

I don't either. Surely they both remember that they fell out of love with each other completely come the end of their relationship. I'm not how Jane misses Lucy either, obviously she'll be devastated but she was the one who chucked Lucy out of the Beale house in 2010 and when Lucy returned in 2012 Jane couldn't leave quick enough!

I think what we saw with Jane and Ian is two very sad and vulnerable people doing a very silly thing. They are better as friends and business partners. I did not like the scene with Ian running after Gina's car and begging Cindy to come back. Reminded me far too much of every time Cindy Sr left Ian before. |

So what did we think of the funeral? Ian was always going to fall apart, its almost predictable now. But I don't think its healthy for him to keep opting out of things just because they are upsetting. I liked the way Ian stood up to Phil regarding Max it was also nice of Phil to respect that by only speaking to Max and not killing him. |

If I'm honest I found the Carter scenes a lot more interesting. It was a damn shame we didn't get a mention on why Martin and to a lesser extent Bev, Gina and Mel weren't their. I mean Martin only lives down the road! Ben Hardy played a blinder but apart from that it was all a bit of a mess IMO. I felt so sorry for Denise, she and her family are now part of the Beale unit yet Ian fails to except that, why he thought Christian was more welcome in the car then Libby I'll never know.... I'm glad she dumped at the end, obviously he's going through a terrible time but Denise has been nothing but supportive yet he continues to treat her like shit. Also loved Masood's classy 'fuck you' to Jane, she left his house wihout even telling him a few weeks ago nor thanking him for his services. He's a much better man than I am? I think Whitney wrote the note Tamwar found. |
