I agree. Ian has always been a family man, he loves all his kids the same. He's just terrible at showing or telling them this. I imagine he is especially proud of Lucy because she optimises all the 'yuppy' instincts he once had, along with Cindy's sly attitude, yet also proud of Peter because he has all the 'good' qualities that Ian sometimes shows. |
