What was that all about? Is he afraid of water? |

He's probably afraid because he knows Shirley tried to drown him. |

Yes when Mick was 1 year old the teenage mother Shirley tried to drown him in the bath. She came to her senses though, I cannot remember if someone caught her, Stan or someone. I think when Mick went to the swimming pool yesterday it bought back memories of it. |

I liked his scene with Ian in the swimming baths on Friday. Nice little scene that was. |

I found it all a bit artificial the bit with Ian making out he'd taught the twins to swim etc. Ian is not exactly built for swimming for starters and we've never seen the baths on screen before! |

Good point but the place itself, just appearing, is still ridiculous, its bound to have a gym so will be direct competition to Ronnie's place (who is running that?!). |

Bit of an apology to make here, stumbled across an old episode of Easties from around 1995 and it clearly showed Cindy using the swimming baths, there is also a very funny scene from around 2010 when Ian got a hot tub so he is certainly at one with water! |

I'm interested to where they take Mick's character now. Where does this leave him and Linda? |
