EastEnders may be well named that now. Yes other families have dominated but the Carters have taken this to new heights, they are as dominant as the Sugdens were in the first 20 years of Emmerdale, the main family, it seems EE now has a main family, the Carters. The Mitchells, Fowler's and Brannings have dominated but never felt like the main family even when the Mitchells and Watts ran The Vic. The acting is quite hammy as well in regards to Nancy, Lee and sometimes Mick. |

Yeah, Carter Christmas wasn't too good was it? No Mitchell's on Christmas Day was a shambles. |

Can't quite believe its been a year since Mick, Linda and Shirley bought the place off Phil! Part of me is beginning to think it is the Vic rather than the family living in it that makes the storyline; Den and Angie, Frank and Peggy realising Dan Sullivan now owns half the pub, Den letting slip to Dennis that he is helping him and Zoe have a baby and now the Carter family realising that Dean raped his sister in law. All of these events happened inside those four walls! I think Stan's role in the whole charade has been retconned as I am sure he knew something originally but now its claimed he believed that his wife could hide a pregnancy and then 'give birth' in a grotty old caravan! The bit that confused me was in the 'All I want for Christmas' trailer we clearly saw Phil kicking in someone's front door? Has that storyline been cut? |

This "king Philth" cliche gets boring now. He is a 53 year old man with a dodgy heart. Dan Sullivan and Den Watts were proper hardmen. Phil's henchmen are Billy, Ben and Jay, ooh very scary lol. |
