Mars stopped and stared into the bushes, frill raised and perked in an attempt to try and hear better. Of course, it didn't work. The dragon however, liked to believe it did. Turns out it was just the wind. Wind, there was a lot of that in the mountains. The higher up on the peaks you go the angrier the breezes and torrents get. Mars never dared trying to climb farther up. His claws were blunt, so he didn't have a very good grip on the rocks of the mountain's face anyway, a strong breeze would probably be enough to send the small dragon flying into the valleys below. The thought made him shudder. The male would rather banish the thought, run across the rocks and feel as free as the birds. He didn't have the guts.
Mars snapped back into attention when a cold breeze washed over his back, making him shiver. Quickly, the dragon sought cover in the rocks until the winds went away again, chewing on the moss hanging from the stones. Atleast he hadn't seen any other dragons yet. That was good.
