Noting the horrible conditions placed on citizens by the Decree on Political Speech; Further noting the blatant disreguard for civil rights displayed by the Presidium as the lackeys of the Communist Party of Livonia; Further noting the desire of the National People's Front to ensure the freedom of all Livonian citizens; Be it resolved that the Decree on Political Speech be overturned and prevented from becoming binding law. All citizens punished under the decree will be immediately freed and given reparations of no less than 500 rubles per hour imprisoned. __________________________________________________________ Actions report: The Chairman of the Supreme Soviet tabled the proposal and prevented debate; Member of the Supreme Soviet John Bishop initiated a challenge to the Chairman's decision to table the proposal; Vote to overturn the tabling of the proposal passed with 11 voting in favor of debate and a vote with 4 voting against debate; Following debate the proposal did not pass with a vote of 6 yeas and 9 nays. |
