Davis said nothing for several long moments, then stood up, the motion oddly fluid for someone so bulky, then lumbered casually past towards the door showing no signs of inebriation despite the almost 2 dozen drinks he'd had, leaving Zeke with one last muttered statement.

"If you don't know where to start looking, you clearly haven't been paying attention."

Erela watched the man leave, then stared directly at Zeke. No one she was interested in seemed to be coming to her and she was quite tired of being ignored. Maybe this man would pay her some attention?

Odd man, he thought to himself. Knew how to hold his liquor, though. That was a respectable trait. Now, down to business. Allies, and where to find them... He'd made mention of dead people, which he thought could only mean others of the fallen. This bar was a supernatural hotspot, but who here could possibly be...

That girl from the stage was watching him. He wasn't sure if it was hunger, or curiosity he saw in her. Maybe both. He looked around. There didn't appear to be anyone else in her line of sight. He didn't think there was a bulls-eye painted on his back. She was looking at him for something, but he wasn't sure what. Might as well find out what.

"Bartender." He slipped a few bills across the counter and motioned his head in the girl's direction.

"A drink for the lady."

The bartender wordlessly beckoned one of the waitresses over and gestured in Erela's direction. The waitress nodded, amused, and brought Erela the drink.

"Looks like someone's got another admirer, eh?"

"Oh! Won't I get into trouble if I drink on the clock?" Erela replied to the waitress, not verbally responding to the comment about another admirer. But she put on her best doe eyed pouting face, clearly imploring an answer. Another admirer? Who was the first? Could it be... toi? This waitress was quite cute when she got flustered, and Erela was quite good at invoking that emotion in people.

The waitress giggled. "Don't worry about it. Things are winding down anyway, Miss Hastings won't mind so long as the customers stay happy."

Erela took the drink with a small smile, but didn't sip it until the waitress had wandered off. Not her then. Well, whoever it was had good taste, whatever this drink was. Ah, there at the bar. Well, the karaoke station would be fine on it's own for a bit.

Erela sat down in the now vacant seat next to him. "Thanks for the drink, doll," she said as she sipped it again.

"Even evil girls get thirsty, and you looked like you could use a drink after your oh so very subtle vocal solo."

Erela allowed a fake blush to color her cheeks. "Oh, that. Well, you know what they say about getting out of your comfort zone," she said, but something in her tone betrayed that it was not really out of her comfort zone at all.

And speaking of comfort zones, she thought as she gave him a once over, "What brings a person like you to a bar like this?" Her tone was 100% innocent curiosity.

"I like the drinks. And the girls aren't half bad either." He said, countering her ogling with a once over of his own.
