Weaponry Types:
There are 2 types of melee weaponry -

Solid Melee - This type of weaponry consists of swords, lances, spears, or even gauntlets. This category encompasses any type of weaponry that deals physical damage at a very close range. These weapons tend to be on the heavier side, with a few exceptions. They may be used as often as needed, as they usually have no energy consumption ammunition. They generally sport decent attack power, but poor armor penetration, with a few exceptions such as spears. The only detriment to their use is their weight, which limits the number of times that you can swing them in a single round. Holding a single weapon in both of a Stella's arms doubles the damage bonus from Recoil.

Energy Melee - This class of weapons refers to close range weaponry whose features are partly comprised of energy, and deal energy damage. These weapons still require no ammunition and have very little weight due to their composition. However, every energy weapon has an energy consumption cost to use. Due to their light weight, a weapon may generally be used several times a round, which can quickly drain a Stella's power reserves. However, their increased armor penetration more than makes up for this drawback. Holding an energy weapon two handed increases the recoil damage bonus by half.

There are also 4 types of ranged weaponry -

Solid Ranged - This type includes rifles, pistols and other weapons that fire solid munitions. If it fires a slug, it fits in this category. These weapons always have finite magazines depending on the weapon, and tend to be very heavy. They usually feature an excellent rate of fire, but must be reloaded via the reload action or at a garage when they have expended all of their ammunition, as well as suffering from recoil. They usually have medium armor penetration.

Energy Ranged -

Missile - These weapons are almost always the heaviest and have the smallest ammo capacity, requiring large amounts of space for the larger ammunition and launcher. These weapons often feature massive damage potential, dealing 3 times the listed damage rating, but have poor damage penetration. In addition, due to the nature of the ammunition, the target uses both it's energy and physical shielding and armor to reduce the damage taken from this attack. In addition, without Modgear to scramble the tracer on a missile, the missile always hits it's target.

Grenade - A grenade is like a missile, in that they typically come with large launchers, but have a larger ammunition capacity before needing to be reloaded. They have no armor penetration and grant the target it's energy and physical armor when reducing the damage they take from the weapon. However, All grenades affect an area, not just a single target. When the grenade explodes, the damage, which is double the listed rating, is dealt to everything in the explosive radius, which varies with grenade.
